What do these people have to do to make you happy?

Prescott set the passing TD record for the team, throws for 5 for his first time and he looked comfortable and sharp. His WR's were making the catches for him.

Elliott was a hammer tonight and went after that 1000 yard mark with tenacity.

Moore called a good game, had 29 rushes and they scored 51 and will lead the NFL in scoring.

And yet, the negative comments keep coming about these 3 specifically when they took care of business and swept the East for the first time in 26 years with a ridiculous point differential.

Have you conditioned yourself to just not be happy with them no matter what they do?

They were not in control of who PHL put out there against them tonight, they were only in control of what they knew that had to accomplish to get some confidence back.

McC and his staff got the players to play with fire in their belly, to get their offensive swagger back and go into this first playoff game on an upswing and feeling good about their team.

Man, I swear, some of you would hammer them if they won it all with "well that's fine but what are they doing next year"?

I watched this game tonight with one goal in mind, get my belief back, get that mojo back that I feel they will win this first game whoever they play. I got that so I can't be negative about anything they did, they surprised me with being ready to play that game and it didn't matter who was on the field against them.

Note: This is my thread as a poster and has nothing to do with being a mod.

Grab happy when it presents itself and hanging 51 on Philly in Philly should make us all happy. Sweeping the East should make us all happy. You deserve to be happy, take it if only for a week.
A-freaking-men! There’s a handful of “realists” here who are NEVER satisfied, no matter what they do, and the people that point this out—the NORMAL people who simply wanna enjoy this diversion called the NFL, are labeled clueless homers and misinformed Care Bears. We were SUPPOSED TO win big, and we did! 12-5 NFCE Champs means something for EVERY team—except of course, the Dallas Cowboys!

It doesn’t mean anything if we don’t start turning some of these seasons into super bowl appearances. Just winning a playoff game and potentially getting to Green Bay should not be the standard for this franchise.

If we can’t win it all with this team then when can we? I want at least a SB appearance. if we get eliminated along the road while playing good football so be it… if it’s the same inconsistency though I’ll be upset.

They're the kind of fans who aren't actually football fans. They only watch Dallas games, not any games featuring two other teams. So they have no point of reference to compare our reality against.

If the QB has a bad game, they say, "Tom Brady would never" or "Aaron Rodgers would never." Because they don't actually watch football so they have no idea those guys do have their own bad days. It's part of the sport.

The Bucs' Super Bowl run in the playoffs last postseason included a conference championship game where Tom Brady got picked off 3 times.

When Aaron Rodgers won his Super Bowl, it included two off days for him personally. In their first game that postseason, he fumbled twice as he did his best to cost his team the close 1-score game. And in the conference championship, he threw zero scores and tossed multiple picks as the team won a low-scoring game without much help from the passing game.

If those examples were us having that kind of run, even after we won the trophy, our fans would storm the team's headquarters to engrave an asterisk on the trophy to indicate how they don't think that title should count because Dak had a bad day along the way.

Our DE's get up the field too quick and our LB's are slow in filling that hole. But, if they play Bohanna and Gallimore at the same time, that could help clog up the middle.

Getting Micah back will also help a little bit but going against a playoff team with starters playing I'm a little worried

We are seriously having problems stopping the run

That's really my only complaint. Dak has to stop making his receivers reach back, or even stop their route to get the ball. You simply can't get YAC (assuming they can even catch it) when you don't lead the receiver.

Yep. A few of those passes are touchdowns if he hits the WR in stride. Got the TDs anyway. But still.

I knew a blowout win against the bench from Egirls would bring the swagger and SB hype back.

This feels similar to after the Wash game. Enjoy the win. We’re rolling going into the playoffs now :)

Clearly, the only thing that would please some of our “fans” would be for the team to win two Super Bowls … this season.

and even then I’m not sure it would be enough

I am glad for the win. But Chung Lee once said, “Very good but brick not hit back.” They had guys out and we had guys out. We did what we had to do but I wouldn’t get too excited either way. Even if we’d lost, I’d feel the same way. This whole team has been up and down all year. All this talk either way finally gets settled within the next month now. It’s put up or shut up Time.

The Dallas Cowboys are by far my favorite sports franchise. What can they do to make me happy? Nothing
I don’t find happiness in the results of a football game . Yes I’d love to make it back to the super bowl but if they don’t I’m on to something else
As far as individual performances go I’d like to see Daks confidence look like last night and Washington game against the teams we play in playoffs

I’d like to see pollard block a bit better so I can see less of zeke except on short yardage and around the goal line
I’d like to see the run defense improve and not get carved up like a thanksgiving day turkey
I’d like to see a more disciplined team the cowboys lead the league in penalties and more often than not it nullified a good play
The O line can play better for sure
I’d like to see an alien take over the kickers body and he not miss a kick moving forward
But as a team they have exceeded my expectations and frankly regardless of what happens the next few weeks it’s been a good season

Yup. It was clear early on the Cowboys we’re winning the East. Time for the rubber to meet road.
