Two things can be true at the same time. Dak can be an upper-echelon QB in the league (he is) while still holding an immense burden to prove he belongs there (he does).
In the minds of some Dak will never "belong" in that hallowed group with their favorite QBs. And that's fine by me. I get a lot of enjoyment watching them try and explain away every time he does something spectacular.. But it all comes down to the formula.. If he and the Cowboys lose, then it was a big game and it was against a "good team." If they win then it was NOT a big game and the opponent was NOT a "good team." The formula is already set.. We don't even have to watch the games really. Just check the scoreboard... Let's watch if the Cowboys boat race the 49ers and come back next Monday and let's laugh at all the posts explaining why they weren't a good team and they were just lucky to make the playoffs.. Gonna be high comedy..
