Me too.. #3 in the NFL in passer rating.. #9 in QBR.. #4 in TD passes.. #5 in TD percentage.. #7 in INT percentage .. #4 in completion percentage.. oh and 5-1 in his last 6 games.. That should about cover it..

Yup, you keep using stats that were run up against inferior teams. So based on Dak’s stats against the Eagles the last game he is the greatest QB in the NFL right ? I mean, he has to be according to you, just look at those stats for that game. And his stats against that powerhouse WFT the last time we played them ? He is worth 80 Million. You’re propping him up using numbers against bad teams. AGAIN.

I'm just curious what is a bad matchup for the 49ers regarding the Cowboys?
The run game if the Cowboys stick with it. No coach is more dedicated to running the ball than Shanahan and will even do it down 17 to get back into the game.

The Niners have a good pass rush and will depend on that to get the ball out of Prescott's hand before he wants to throw it.

This game is the most unusual one of the 6 because no game will have two teams more dependent on their OL's. The team that has their OL play the best wins this game.

The Cowboys will need a 100% Parsons to deal with Samuel, he is a real handful to tackle. This is just the kind of game they got Parsons for, the sacks were nice but his real forte is patrolling that los.

Sorry but his season numbers are based on his performance in all games against all teams.. Nobody said he is the greatest anything.. But his numbers say he was somewhere around the 3rd or 4th best QB in the league throughout the season. But I keep forgetting that nobody else plays against bad teams.. Brady and Rodgers both played 17 playoff teams and beat them all.. My bad..

We play in maybe the sorriest division in football and his stats in those 6 games are reflected in his overall stats. Let’s see how things go this weekend.

They lean in the run. They’re great at it and we stuck at stopping it. They have a great tight end and we struggle at safety. It’ll force parsons to cover a lot.
They're 21st in points allowed. I'll be angry if we don't hang a lot of points on them. If we take the lead early, it'll force them to throw, and we know how good this defense is when your on your heels.

The 9ers had to win the last game of the season to squeak into the playoffs for a reason. They’re far from a great team. We’re better.
I agree we are better, But our run D is not the best. The 9ers will scheme their run game open if that makes sense. We must tighten up the run D and make Jimmy G and Kittle try and beat us. In doing that our O has to score often and early, to make them one dimensional. Then our D can feast on Jimmy G and get sacks and some interceptions by pressure throws or make him fumble.

Wonder if Trent Williamis will play, he's by far there best player. He missed yesterday due to an elbow injury and didn't practice all week.

The 49ers can pound the ball and we’re not physical. That could lead to another Denver game. If we can’t match their physicality and contain their running game we don’t deserve to win and wouldn’t get much further in the playoffs anyway.

Game planning against Mike McCarthy is like playing chess while he is playing checkers.

They average between 2 and 3 more rushing yards per game than we do. How is that some kind of huge advantage? Facts matter. We average just under 125 per game and they average just over 127 per game. Again, facts matter.

There wasn't a good matchup in the wildcard for us outside of Philadelphia. Pick your poison:

49ers: great scheming offense/run game; great defense; experienced team that just went to the SB 2 years ago
Cardinals: dynamic QB; offense protects the ball; playmakers on defense
Rams: arguably best WR; great DL; hard to come back if losing at halftime

I wouldn’t be looking at their rushing average. They’ve had some games where they’ve controlled the ball on the ground. Yesterday they pounded the Rams running the ball. They put up 156 yards on the ground. They controlled the ball almost 40 minutes against a very talented Rams defense. Even when they got down by 17 points they never abandoned the run. They basically got back in the game by running the ball down the Rams throat. The 49ers are very physical upfront and physical teams have been a problem for us. Look back at the Denver game and see what happened. They had a make-shift OL and they manhandled us upfront. Denver put up 190 yards rushing on us.

The Eagles backups put up 149 yards rushing on us against our starting defense Saturday night. Our defense looked like crap in my opinion. I could see the 49ers winning by 2+ scores on Sunday if the Cowboys show up looking flat and start missing tackles. Our defense isn’t that great. It has a lot of blemishes that have been covered up by takeaways. If we don’t force some turnovers on Sunday we could be in trouble. I’m not convinced we can get San Francisco off the field.

lol...what? The 49'ers are a good match up. This game will tell us fans if this team is a bro or a bra. Why so negative?

If they lose, they lose, and if they win, you might say the next opponent is a bad match up. The top of the mountain is a hard climb, if they cannot make it...then they were not the team we thought they might be. I want to see the Cowboys, at home, walk the walk, they done been talking too much.

Play time is over. 1 2 3

While you are correct there can be no denying that they have been the better running team the last half of the season. They had to rediscover their identity after the QB got hurt.. We should have learned a similar lesson when our QB got hurt.. but we didn't..

49ers aren't "great" at anything. They had a lucky win against a good team. It happens.
I disagree that they were lucky vs the Rams. They obliterated the Rams' o line in the second half. This will be the game of the week.
