When Dak slid.

Go watch every game ever. In none of them will you find it takes a ref 8 seconds to spot the ball.

None!
The ref was sprinting to the spot, Dak handed the ball to the center which was on him, not the ref. Then Dak, Biadasz and the o line were in the refs way. He has to set the ball, not the center. It was on us!

Doesn’t matter. Dispute my point.

The ref wasted maybe 2 seconds and part of it was because there were 300lbs me in front of him that he couldn't get past and Dak moving around. The execution error was Dak running 7 yards too far. Had he ran 10 yards, the refs would have been in the right place to set the ball and it could have been spiked with 5-6 second on the clock. That extra 7 yards made all the difference (in a bad way).

The umpire spots the ball...not the center. Dak is a 6-year veteran, he knows that you just can't give it to your center like it's a pickup game. If he gets right up and finds the umpire then maybe there is 1 second left. Instead, the ump has to slide through Dak and Biadasz and the game is over.

Sorry but posting something from Dan I lost all credibility due to hating Dallas, does not help your cause. Officials should have been there to spot the ball instead of rumbling through and pushing Dak forward. Either get there or give them 1 sec on the clock due to the ref not doing his job.

TODAY'S refs though? Current NFL officiating is atrocious, whether or not you think there is bias. You simply don't take that chance there when you have time to throw, twice, to win the game. And especially not when you have to put it in the hands of one of today's officials.

Could of had 2 shots in the end zone. Instead Dak tried to get into easy field goal range.

That last play was the best Dak illustration. Instead of making the conventional QB play, he goes after the conservative play.

but he wasn’t going to score anyway, so why run, you were on the 40 with 2 shots at the end zone instead they had zero..it was the dumbest play call and decision in playoff history

With all due respect... who the *** cares?

At that point we were hoping for a miracle. We had our opportunity with our second to last drive, and we blew it tremendously.

We could not have asked for a better opportunity.

No warner. No Bosa. 3 Timeouts. The 2 minute warning. And we had already made it to the 50.

The play selection was monumentally stupid following that.

Why did we rush that 2nd down play before the 2 minute warming? I still don't understand. You not only want to score, you don't want to leave the Niners time

San Fran was leaving the sideline wide open. Three straight throws lead to big games. Why not try another there?

Zero reason to run the ball there. No one was expecting it because it is an insane call. You don't put your entire season in the hands of the refs who haven't done you any favors all year...and who just caused a delay of game penalty earlier in the game.

Yes!

I can almost guarantee Pollard picks up 8+ yards if he got a carry there. It would have also gone a long way to wind their DL.
