I seriously doubt Kurt Warner would be willing to put in the time necessary to be a head coach and coordinate his own offense
How well do you know Kurt Warner?

I want the big guy from Georgia too. But that would be stupid wave goodbye to a top 10 quarterback in the NFL. Thank God GMs don't think like fans. Teams don't just toss away good qbs.
why would you bring someone in who’s never coached before?
Listening to him talk you can see he knows football, can't seeing coaching it any problem at all. Look at how many math/english teachers get stuck coaching HS football.
I know enough that his wife is high maintenance...and he's been doing a lot of radio lately. Maybe he is trying to break into coaching...I just don't think he would be willing to put in the 80-100 weeks to get a team ready. How well do you know Kurt Warner?
Another Kurt Warner as head coach thread? His film studies have really won some of you over. It’s getting zanier here by the day.

He really didn't get into specifics...all he said was the 49ers were playing quarters....and we should have attacked underneath.Didn't watch it, it's watching him for years talking the game, this guy knows football.

Earth shattering....![]()

What QB is in the draft?
Anyone who’s played the game can talk the game which is why he and many other former players have network and NFL broadcasting jobs. Kurt Warner has never been a coach at any level that I’m aware of. It’s one thing talking football and it’s another thing coaching it. A player doesn’t go from talking about NFL football on a network to being an NFL head coach. It takes years of coaching experience working your way up the coaching ranks to become an NFL head coach.
He does coach...
From 2015 to 2018, Warner was a coach at Desert Mountain High School in Scottsdale, Arizona. Notably, Kedon Slovis played under Warner before being recruited by the USC Trojans for the 2019 college football season. Since 2019, Warner is the quarterbacks coach at Brophy College Preparatory.
....I think he could figure it out nothing he couldn't handle.
Tell ya what my man if I were running the team I ain't paying a running back what Jerry did Zeke and Dak wouldn't be a Cowboy if he needs 40 mill. And I don't have Garrett or McCarthy as my HC's.Jerry isn’t about to hire a high school coach who also talks football on NFLNetwork. A couple of years ago everyone wanted Romo as the next head coach because he could talk a good game. Any former player who can break down film captives fans on this board. I’m just glad some of you aren’t running the team.
talk talk talk by fools for the sake of talk...Dude, there has been talk of Warner as HC, talk of Wilson at QB, talk of getting another RB and talk of the next draft, so......what?????????

You would be struggling looking for a QB. If you were running the team you wouldn’t have won 5 games this season. You would’ve been playing musical chairs at QB all season.
So what would I have done for a HC/QB?
