I guess Cowboys loss isn’t so bad now?

I haven't been on the fire McCarthy band wagon, although I would understand if Jerry decided to fire him. But you can't compare last night's game to the 49ers-Cowboys game. The Cowboys enjoyed good weather, comfortable temperatures and a perfect field to play on. The Packers were clearly hurt by the cold, snow and wind at Lambeau. Last night's game between the 49ers and Packers was all about the weather conditions, not about sloppy, undisciplined, stupid football.

I have no doubt that if Rodgers had the same conditions to play in as the Cowboys he would have had a few TDs and a lot more points. The special teams mistakes would not have mattered much.

And Bosa and Fred Warner sidelined…

defenses and offenses dont play in a vacuum. They go hand in hand. If our offense didnt keep punting over and over against the niners in the first half, the niners likely have 10 points in the first half.
And SF defense didn’t have anything to do with it?

And our defense didn’t force them to punt one time in 1st half.

blah, blah, blah.

Do you have super high expectations now with Mike? I mean, he is a SB winning coach and all. Is Mike an Xs and Os kind of coach?
lmao, now mike is garrett? he's only wasted one year the first was a wash. if you're still rooting for garrett, well crap, I can't find him in the NFL. let me check college, nope, brb checking high schools.

The 49ers played in the same conditions as GB. They won. Rodgers is used to those conditions. SF just beat them and GB choked. Like the Cowboys were beaten and the Cowboys choked.

It is what it is.

Yes, but the SF 49ers are more of a running short passing team while GB's best weapon is their QB. The weather has a greater effect on the passing game than SF's running attack. The weather clearly favored SF, although neither team did much on offense. The Packers game plan is all about Rodgers and Adams.

Perhaps Rodgers should look for his new team in a dome or warmer climate cause if cold inclement weather doesn’t suit his game , he’s definitely in the wrong place.
It’s not as much about AR as how GB builds their team. The comparison to me are the George “The Iceman” Gervin Spurs of the early 80’s and the Don Nelson Mavericks. They were built to excel in the regular season, but the post season required more than offense.

AR could go to somewhere like Atlanta, and although weather isn’t a factor, the end result may be the same because of the team around him. The one place that AR could go that might be different is NO. But even there, Payton had Brees for well over a decade and only played in 1 SB.

Wait a minute. This is basically the same team SF had two years ago and why it’s pertinent. This just doesn’t fit your narrative so you’re dismissing it.

We went 6-10 last year mainly cause of injuries. Similar to SF.
again, SF was a 6-10 team last year. arrow was pointing down for them. so do we compare the team loss to a team's outcome from two years ago? or last year? like I said, Rams went from 5-11 to superbowl winners. it doesn't make me feel any better....they finished 3rd in their own division and needed a miracle second half and OT in last game of the season to make it to post season.

Sounds like the Packers have built the wrong kind of offense around their QB skills considering the elements in Green Bay.

Perhaps Rodgers should look for a warmer climate or dome team or not have best record to host playoffs in.

But Rams made some major changes with QB and other top FA moves . Much like Tampa did. That changes much .SF basically same team.

And finishing 3rd in best division might be a bigger indication than winning one of worse divisions . All of the warning signs in our matchup with SF was out there and why most were picking them. Only those who bought into the hype wanted to dismiss them .

The Packers did that to themselves. They know what the weather is like this time of year and should have planned accordingly. They choked. Rodgers choked. Period. SF didn't.

They’ve won 3 playoff games since their last super bowl…this franchise is just about rock bottom…right there with the Lions…

It illustrates the importance of a running game even more.
Yep

When we lost that about in the middle of the season is when our offense begun struggling.

I’d argue we lost our identity which has been built on our great OL and running game which not only makes our QB and offense more effective and tough to stop but it mask our weaknesses on defense.

And why revamping our OL and bringing in more RB support should be our top priority along with toughening up middle of our defense.

IM well aware of that. My point was had our offense put together a couple of 5-6 minute scoring drives, the niners dont score as much, thus making my point that the defense and offense are connected.

I think if you switched our schedule and the Seattle schedule..the records might stay with the division....Again I hear you..our "Studs" have not shown to be studs in tough games so far...Not saying they can not but as a whole from coaches to players when have you left a game with this group saying "I didnt think they could do that!!!"

I dont troll... ever. Im also not making any point about JG. I dont care who our coach is, I have no loyalty to any of them. Im just making the point that Mike aint no different than any other.

Listen, my dislike for the 49ers runs deep. But instead of making excuses for both the Cowboys and Packers, can't we just accept the fact San Fran is on a hot streak right now and nobody wants to play them? We've seen this happen in the NFL before, like the 2011 Giants. They were far from the best team in the league, but they caught fire at the right time.

When will fans begin respecting this 49er DL?
They are respected for sure. The problem is watching our Cowboys play undisciplined football and lose. I saw Randy Gregory smiling at one point after a penalty, instead of being upset with himself.

I guess people react differently to situations but, in that moment, it has to mean more that a joke.
