I started another thread about the reason this season was as it was and that is justification for firing the HC. He has the nerve to say they're going to address the penalties this off season when it was obvious he didn't do it during this season, they saved their worst for the playoff game.

Then I assemble this team and tell them they cost their HC his job and I am going to tell his successor exactly that. His own team can be his worst enemy through laziness and stupidity.

Then I tell them on my weekly radio show (this is assuming I have a weekly radio show but how else are y'all going to know what I am up to and hate on me?) that perps will be outed for mistakes of the mental variety so you'd better hope your mistake doesn't hurt the team.

I won't go into all I would do as GM, especially the free tickets, concessions and merch to my fellow Zoneheads or I will get accused of pandering, but I would stress on these players they are my well-paid employees, they are not family or friends so I have no problem with acting as the employer.

This penalty problem isn't new but it has never been addressed in a head first direction either. A team that beats itself, needs new leadership beginning at the top. I do not know of another way to fix that, it's basics and fundamentals.

If it happens the only one I see that could win now is Harbaugh. Give me him please

I’m not sure how much Parcells had. Except with his own coaches. Jethro over ruled or went against Bills wishes or preferences several times and ultimately was probably reason Bill left early.

We have a toxic culture with our dysfunctional ownership which is probably too much for any HC to overcome.
Parcells didn’t leave early, he stayed another year for an additional 1M. And I do think he did it for the money.

Here's the problem: The whole organization stinks. There are reports that state that MM left Moore out to dry. You and others talking about addressing penalties too late. MM making the refs as an excuse for penalties...Yes, if all of this is true or close to being true, I'd fire him immediately. Here's the other thing. Jerry is also stating the same thing now. Like it's a big issue NOW. Jerry doing his usual after the season spin of blaming coaches and players to take the heat of himself. We are a train wreck from top to bottom.

I don’t think firing McC solves anything but maybe getting the team’s attention and even that is iffy.

The type of HC we all want is not coming to Dallas.
We had the best puppet we’ll prob find.

But yea, it doesn’t prob matter. Let’s just keep spinning the wheel now.

If we fire McCarthy no one will come. Not that we’d attract anyone we’d want anyway.

Just when we thought it couldn’t get worse. Lol

If I’m the owner I fire the GM!

So , we’ll prob keep Mikey another year assuming Moore doesn’t get any offers and at some point Moore will be prob be our next Garrett.

That should run us to close to Jethro’s 90th birthday. Who knows I might not even make it for that.

Aaron as much as I don't want to admit it was right. MM is a warm body that knows the process and fills space. If he was legit the Cowboys would not have had 14! penalties in the final game. Period!

Someone will come for the money. They always do, coaches are people too.

It has never been about anyone we wanted but who can make the owner comfortable.
Of course. I didn’t mean no one. But no one we’d really want.

Unfortunately in the end , I’m not sure it really matters anymore.

Apparently Jethro has been mouthing off more. Lol

It’s just a sad but hilarious situation as the vibe throughout most of the season is McCarthy was building the kind of team we hadn’t seen this era and this culture was unlike anything we’d had.

Amazing how it turned into this crap show . But we really shouldn’t be that surprised . I maintain this new way of losing with last 14 seconds left was one of the worst ways it could have ended. We’d been better off with SF running the clock out.

But time clock Mgmt and penalties was a problem all year. That’s what Jethro is blowing steam off now responding to Mikey’s comments that they needed to work on this during offseason. He said it should have been worked on during season. Saying another season was wasted.

After these latest comments from The Fan I think it was Thur or Fri , it’s really difficult seeing a way forward with McCarthy. It could just be a matter of him waiting to see if there’s anyone available he’d be willing to fire McCarthy for. The local vibe is it could be Payton. Sean might be the only one he’d be willing to lose Moore over with as well.

The thing is if Payton comes here I think it would actually look really bad on Jerry if it didnt change things (again I'm not saying thats on MM)..for some reason Payton is this white whale and if that doesn't work, the few people left in this world that dont think Jerry is the problem would have no other option but to admit it finally....Jerry would be on an island at that point. But lets not act like Jerry didnt get around to jacking with Bill Parcells finally and if he will do that why would Payton be any diferent to him.

That's why he was actually relieved Parcells failed and he let that slip when he was drunk in that bar and they recorded him.

This all began when he came to Dallas and was hated by a lot of the fans and local celebrities and Jimmy Johnson became popular quickly and is still more popular and better liked than Booger ever will be. It is pathetic to watch a man his age trying to feed his ego and in his quest to prove himself Johnson's equal, he has failed miserably.

I don't think Clint Murchison would have made a good GM but Booger has removed all the doubt.
