He wants us to believe he is the "all seeing, all knowing". Why, he even developed a strategy for keeping McCarthy happy while letting rumors run rampant. All part of a plan so well designed no one can figure it out and the last person you want trying to explain it is him.

True. But he may also realize that Moore isn’t ready.

This may be true but as the Dolphins, you don't do a second interview unless he has someone seriously in his corner. Whether that's the GM, president, owner, or whoever, but someone in the room is fighting for him.

Daboll was someone people pinned as the front runner for that job (multiple Miami reports and national football guys) but he took the giants job. Basically it’s Mike McDaniel from the 49ers or Kellen Moore. McDaniel is definitely the hot name right in this moment but yo7 have to think with daboll gone - Kellen may have a real chance there despite what Jerry said.

Just look at the posture of Quinn and Moore, the contrast. There is nothing wrong with Moore not being ready, McVay is the exception, not the rule. And have you ever seen any young coach get the cooperation from his front office that McVay has received?

People move and grow at their own pace and Moore strikes me as less than a Type A personality but as far as the football smarts, don't doubt him, he has that. He is creative but he has to have time for creative plays and he has to have execution of the plays. What if Cedric Wilson doesn't blow that throwback and they keep that drive alive instead of giving the ball back? Sure, it's just one play but execute it and that DC and D are on alert now and not sitting on everything so tight. It was a great call and poor execution.

If you are going to call Moore stupid and berate him when he has the #1 offense in yards and points in the league, I don't know what would make you happy. It's amusing that Quinn gets all of this love and his job was the simpler one, control Samuel and he failed but he gets high praise and Moore is the goat.

There is actually a good chance he’s gets that job unless another candidate pops in. McDaniel with SF just became the OC this year and we know Shanny is the play caller. It’s between the both of them currently.

Sure, because wanting KM gone is equivalent to wanting Garrett back. Nice reach.
