I don't get why you can't just start with that. You always do this when discussing Goodell. Someone says they disagree with his decision and you attack them as clueless when you're really just avoiding the debate about the decision. The fact is you support his decision and see it as his decision.

I'd also say you buy into the same nonsense that turns fans away by saying fans want the NFL to "care." Football is bigger than the players. They already have bad reputations among fans. The simple fact Hill wasn't suspended undermines your whole point.

It’s not so much fans like us they are concerned about . It’s fringed fans which is usually women. But most of all it’s about protecting the leagues image for the networks and sponsors.

Picking one situation out of all the ones we’ve had means they’ve probably handled most. I googled it and they said there was no evidence the child’s abuse was from him.

I think it also matters how the Chiefs handled it and the fact their franchise doesn’t have history nor an owner who goes out his way to call out the league in these investigations.

Each situation is different. I never heard much fallout he wasn’t suspended.

Not ignorant, just looking at it from the wrong angle. It's not about applying discipline equally. It's about keeping the dollars rolling in. Fairness is irrelevant. As fans, we want things to be fair. They are not. Never have been and never will be.

I also disagree with saying, "life is unfair," as regards evaluating someone's decisions. It's not like we're talking about an act of God here.
