Anyone in his position is going to take criticism . And I’m not saying he’s not acceptable to it.

But there are fans who act like he’s making these all on his own accord not looking at whose interest he’s representing.

Responsible is a broad description. If you mean he’s accountable for how he carries out his marching orders and their effects, yes. And the owners and league will hold him accountable.

But if you mean he’s acting or responsible for the policies he’s administered then I’d say no. He’s just following the guidance from those he represents.

And the fact some are blaming him instead of those he’s representing is exactly what he’s hired to do.

I already said what I thought. I'm trying to make sense of your position as regards his actions.

I’m not really interested in individual decisions. You win some you lose some. If you make enough decisions they all won’t be good.

The bigger picture interest me. And the league has prospered under his watch despite arguably the greatest issues to ever confront the league.

Too often a KB is responsible for coverage of TE and just can’t stay with them . And CB and S are usually undersized. And why a big TE with great hands is such a threat especially in middle of the field.
