The fact is that Dak was 6-6 outside the NFC East. He fluffed up his stats in 9 games against bottom 10 defenses and a 10th game against Phillys JV sqaud in a meaningless game for them. But he is also the master of garbage time. He loves to get those stats pumped up down 23-7 (AZ)......22-7 (SF)...... Denver when we were down 30-0 before Dak managed 2 meaningless TDs in the final 5 minutes. So, thats 10 games out 17 against the worst defenses the NFL has to offer, and another 3 at least where he wracked up some numbers at the very end of games he gave us little chance to win.

Go look at how he played against top 20 defenses and get back to me when you have some facts. The dudes big numbers were a mirage, but I understand Dak homerism is a disease of judgement.

It’s the difference between the Goff Rams last year and the Stafford Rams this year. The difference between the Winston Bucs and the Brady Bucs. Tebow Broncos and Manning Broncos. When Alex Smith joined the Teamers. When the Ravens moved from Flacco to Lamar Jackson. When the Pats chose Mac Jones over another year of Cam Newton.

It’s a team sport, yes, but the QB’s influence is dramatic.

Sometimes. Then, you have the Dilfer Ravens, the Brad Johnson Bucs, the Namath Jets, the Rypien Commanders, the Hostetler Giants, the Plunkett Raiders ...

It can even be argued that Stafford isn't really the difference. Remember, the Rams got to the Super Bowl with Goff. Stafford is a real good quarterback, but I don't think anyone would say that he's great. He's in the right situation for his skill level.

Dak has enough talent around him to go deep in the playoffs....unfortunately, he can't hit the broad side of a barn. And for the 10,000th time....you cannot learn to be accurate....so PLEASE....quit praying and waiting for it suddenly to happen.

They hate this video.

I have argued for years on this forum and elsewhere that football is the ultimate team game.

Time and Time again, "internet experts" keep telling me "it's the QB... it's the QB"

Can you "eXpErTs" explain to me how this can be true when the exact same QB in Matt Stafford that "couldn't win a playoff game" is now in the Super Bowl? Could it be that his TEAM is in the Super Bowl and he didn't have that level of TEAM when in Detroit?

How are Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes sitting at home? Could it be that their TEAMS didn't play well enough to win?

Dak is more than capable of going to and winning the super bowl. But HE and the TEAM have to put it all together.
Detroit is the exception. It has ruined and wasted Barry Sanders and Calvin Johnson.

No fricking way, the TEN TOE MEDIOCRE SLOTH formally known as Dak Prescot is slower than the jungle THREE TOE SLOTH when it comes to reading defenses and finding the wide open RECs & TEs. The SLOTH with the star on his helmet isn't taking any team to the SB, it's just not in his DNA.

“ITz a TeAm GaMe!”

Quick, who here would take the entire Bengals roster (outside of the QB) over the Cowboys?

The same bum CB we wanted gone (Chido) is going to the SB now that he has a real QB
Quick.

How did Stafford fail over and over again with the lions but get to the super bowl in one year with the rams?

This is lazy nonsense. Burrow (in the Superbowl) struggled and lost to the JETS!!!!! And other really bad teams. Beating bad teams isn't a given.

This is stupid

Yes lets compare to the roster the Cowboys have this year to the Lions

Whatever point you thought you made is dumb. Despite the Rams having a good roster around him, they found themselves needing their QB to lead a game winning drive in back to back games to lead them to the SB.

You want to know what Dak did with his chance to lead a game-winning drive against the 49ers?

Down 6 with 2:42 left in the game and all 3 timeouts at our own 16.

-Pass incomplete to Schultz
-Pass complete to Schultz for 38 yards
-Sacked (1 yd loss)
-Pass incomplete to Ceedee Lamb
-Pass incomplete to Ezekiel Elliott (Holding penalty declined)
-Pass incomplete to Cedric Wilson

He choked and Stafford didnt , case closed

The Chargers weren't in the playoffs and the only two teams we beat who were lost by a combined score of 78-32 wildcard weekend.

The Eagles had only 1 win against a team with a winning record all year (Saints) and would not have even made the playoffs any year prior to this (7th seed).

We are a team that went 6-0 against a horrible NFC east and 6-6 against everyone else (playoffs included).

You're right, but Chargers are a playoff team. Eagles were in the playoffs, we beat Carolina at 3-0 while they had the number one ranked defense. We trashed the Washington Football team... the same Washington football team that beat the Buccaneers. We beat the Saints... the same Saints team that beat Brady and the Bucs and Rodgers and the Packers.

We beat the Patriots, the same team that beat the Titans and the Bills.

We also destroyed teams we were supposed to beat. So.... if you have any further complaints about strength of schedule, take it up with the NFL scheduling committee.

I will leave you with this.... I've never heard you mention all the years Brady won games in "horrible" divisions playing against the Jets, Bills, and Dolphins twice a year.... and now playing against the Falcons, Saints, and Panthers twice a year. You play who you're up against and you play to win the game.

Stafford played in Detroit. They sucked. Brady couldn’t have even made them a winner.

He then went to a better team. He played better.

It’s not hard to figure out. 2nd best QB rating ever.
