Stephen Jones on Amari Cooper: "It sometimes not all on the receiver. It's scheme. It's getting the receiver the ball. It's the targets ... But if you're going to pay somebody a lot of money, you want them to be the best at what they do ... with that comes high expectations."

The bold ones are digs on Dak.....the rest only a Jones can figure out?

They have to cut him.

He might be our offensive mvp but what use is the guy if Dak won’t throw him the ball in big games? He barely contributed unless we played garbage
They will ask him to take a pay cut and he will refuse, blaming factors beyond his control for his low numbers.
They will try to trade him with no success as his contract is a Jones deal.
They will cut him prior to June the 1st for reasons we are all aware of.

It is on Moore. People will say it is on Dak but he is just running the offense.

We have always, since garrett, struggled to Target our top guys. Teams always dictate to us what we are going to do...not the other way around.

I don’t know. Seems TO and DEz got theirs with Romo No matter who is drawing up the plays or calling them only one person determines where to throw the ball And it isn’t a coach.

It's genuinely hilarious how you left that really super important part of the quote 'it's scheme' regular size. Very subtle.

They sure weren’t saying that when Dak was setting Quincy Carter records of futility in Dallas before Amari got there…

Now Amari is getting the same treatment as Dez? I thought Dak’s shining quality was that he doesn’t ‘force the ball’ to any one receiver? So long gone are the days of “Dak-friendly” offense?

Did Quincy also go 13-3 his first year and win rookie of the year?! Man, weird, I don't remember that. A better comparison would've been Romo, who--no wait, he didn't do **** till year 4.

You're really going to try pin the year that we had Allen Hurns and Cole Beasley as our starting receivers on Dak?!

Do you hear yourself sometimes? Do you follow for the football team or just the QB?

Well.. They are shopping him around.. Sounds like he didn’t perform. Maybe keeping Gallup and Wilson. If we do and Gallup is hurt again SJ and JJ will be so mad. When Coop is on he can kill a team..

Not with Hurts throwing him the ball. I’m not a Dak fan but Hurts can’t hit the broad side of the broad side of the barn.
By the egirls keeping hurts is helps us win the division.. I think they are hoping to save money if he pans out..

You were probably one of those same Dak-stans telling us how much better the offense was going to be with Dez gone and Cole Beasley as the number 1, because you know, in 2016, Coke Beasley was supposedly the best WR ever.. RG3 also was ‘amazing’ his rookie year, you know what also happened, 2017 happened and teams figured out you could just sit on Cole Beasley outside Routes and Dak was a walking disaster.

I remember Dak-stans telling us how amazing the offense was going to be and how Cole lining up wide was going to be great. Allen Hurns was a “big gain” type WR like Dez, without the label of a head case and so on..

And then the inevitable happened and they pretended like they knew it wasn’t going to work at all.

Now Amari is the excuse, because Dak, like he did with Cole Beasley, can no longer get him the ball just like he couldn’t with Dez..

I don’t even think their HC wants him and that’s a FO move. That’s why the HC went and got Minshew.

Jerry and Stephen know they got to play damage control after giving this QB coming off a broken leg, 42 million a year with a no trade clause. That’s why Jerry, the great OC, was defending his QB from criticism during the slump by saying things like:

“The thing that you’re seeing is sometimes the pass looks errant is because the receiver, for instance, ran the route two yards, cut it off two yards shorter. He should be out two more yards before he makes his cuts. It can make all the difference in the world as far as his ability to separate. It has a relativeness to the other receivers. And, so, if you’re not really crisp on the way the play was designed, relative to how many yards you go, the cut, then your passing game can look really off. That’s one of the answers: better routes.”

So is he going to give Moore another raise if he gets the Miami offer? Why not just become OC Jerry, since you learned so much on how to run an offense by keeping Garrett in charge of it for so many years?

It is on Moore, mostly.

If Cooper is on the field, Dak has a choice. Does he make the right ones?

I know what YOU will say.....this is for the fair-minded.

"running the offense"

So Moore dictates who the ball goes to pre-snap?

Look Imma football dummy and this doesn't make any sense. I'd been assuming all these years the QB reads the defense and decides who gets the ball.
