I don't need to believe my team can win a Championship in order to follow along. If you're a sports fan and not a bandwagon fan odds are most years you know your team can't win.

I was very aware over these last 26 years that we couldn't win. Just like I'm aware that if we do get into the playoffs next year we will enter the postseason with one of the worst QBs.

My present hope is that we draft our way to being the 85 bears defense incarnate. But I agree that they don't have to win the Lombardi for us to remain fans. I give nothing but my spare time so I'm owed nothing

My guy needs to be consistent. I don't recall Dak playing well for an entire season. I understand a poor game here or there, but #4 seems streaky.

I agree with Dak "turn the page" because this year was forgettable on offense. Also, Dak needs to be the "commander" on the field in 2 minute situations (clock management), and audibling.

He can't be the commander unless he joins those fools up in DC.

Yeah, he wants to "turn the page". By the time those pages are turned it would be like turning the pages in the book War and Peace. Unless he is referring to the pages of a Comic Book.

I’m still trying to figure out how Dak ever became ‘elite’ when he’s been mediocre the majority of his career here.

Get with America'sCowboys, Ken, or RonnieT. Either one or all 3 will be happy to give you all the scoop on why they think Dak is elite. I don't feel he is elite, but others are so blinded they refuse to acknowledge Dak's flaws. And Dak has many......

But how did he become elite when he was a laughing stock after the 2016 season? He had three picks returned for a TD in like 4 games to start 2017 and completely sucked when Zeke was suspended. He went into 2018 where he left off in 2017, setting Quincy Carter records of futility in Dallas. In 2019, there were multiple stretches where Dallas was the worse TD scoring offense in football. And so on..

How does that translate into elite?

Now we got Kurt Warner telling us clearly on video he has no clue why Dak is hitching when all of his WRs are running downfield, 4 on go routes and 1 on a deep post, yet we are suppose to believe that it’s not that Dak always has issues with mechanics and anticipation, which is clearly evidence of a QB not being elite, but hitches are because of his calf?

How does a guy who took a week to throw a TD in training camp in year 3 suddenly become elite?

The Cowboys had a good record this year, but, some don't forget how many times the defense gave Dak the ball back during this season so he could try and try and try. The defense was one of the top take away this season...the more tries Dak gets he will eventually score a TD some way or the other.

As Troy and many others have said before, " the QB gets too much credit in wins and too much blame in losses".....its no different in our forum too. Very little middle ground
I get it, I just know better.
