I’m still trying to figure out how Dak ever became ‘elite’ when he’s been mediocre the majority of his career here.

Can we just turn the page on Dak’s career to where it says he was traded?
Great PR and politics........add to that a hillbilly drunken owner GM and winner, winner chicken dinner!!!
666 filling his coffers and leaving misery and sorrow in his wake for all TRUE Cowboy fans!

grill him about Dez? why? Dez was a has been that never was....who cares

and you expect him to say anything negative about his boss. in an interview!!! if your answer is yes, then you are very naive

As Troy and many others have said before, " the QB gets too much credit in wins and too much blame in losses".....its no different in our forum too. Very little middle ground
Right

And I think where most fans are. More in the middle while the minority of extremes on both sides often dominate the airwaves.

Dak Prescott is a very bright guy.

I wonder if his issues are more about self confidence than he leads on.

Of course he doesn't want to throw a pick but if they are going to feature him by passing constantly, he has to make throws.

Just seems like his skill set and the current philosophy on offense isn't a great match.

Guess its easier to just say each one sucks but I'm not fully convinced each wouldn't be much better in a different situation.

In the end it’s either worth your entertainment value or it’s not.

I’m not sure why we need faith or hope to follow. For 60 minutes a week for 17 weeks we can enjoy the entertainment without any emotional attachment or expectations much like watching other teams and games.

Speak for yourself. He is what he is. He's not a young player still developing. This is prime Prescott. It gets no better than this.

I have no hope in him whatsoever.
there is an old saying by a wise man : " if it was going to rain , we should have seen the clouds " he is what we have seen . an average QB, easliy rattled QB , who is paid like a top QB . He is personable and likable , but no on field accomplishments whatsover. That contract is going to hurt the cowboys for years as at the end of it , Dak will not have won a SB or close to it , and the cycle of getting another QB starts. That will be around 2026 !!!

lol...Actually, Dak could call JJ every thing in the book and talk bad about his wife and his children...hell, he could walk into JJ's office and piss on his desk and there is nothing JJ can do about it, is there?

What? Cut him? Uh, no...cost to much to get rid of him.

Trade him? Not now.

Bench him? (if he was a smart man)...so that option is gone.

JJ got grabbed by the short hairs by Dak, give it another 7 years and maybe those short hairs will grow back...just give Dak some time...(must be a really slow learner). He sure has us Cowboy fans fooled.
