Dak Prescott is a very bright guy.

I wonder if his issues are more about self confidence than he leads on.

Of course he doesn't want to throw a pick but if they are going to feature him by passing constantly, he has to make throws.

Just seems like his skill set and the current philosophy on offense isn't a great match.

Guess its easier to just say each one sucks but I'm not fully convinced each wouldn't be much better in a different situation.
Bingo.

He's our QB, nothing to gain by hating
For sure, comes with the ground for being a Cowboys fan in name and support. I happen to like him and he will get top level skills that mix with the scheme and plays forced upon him.

He, although, can come through and win one game on his own, during the playoff scenarios ... which is both necessary and also all that is needed to hit the NFC Championships!

As a Cowboys fan you hope he gets better, but reality kind of nags on you and says it’s been six years now as a starter and something is still off. He also seems to have too much of Garrett’s politician in him IMO. I don’t really know what to believe about him. I’m not convinced he really, really wants to win a championship. I get the sense he’s also content with $160 million, being the face of America’s Team, saying the right things, and making commercials and sponsorship money as possible.
Nah I don't agree with that. He does care. Sometimes people forget he grew up a fan. I think he really wants to win a championship for this franchise. He's just not good enough to elevate the team. Coaching, surrounding talent has to be nearly perfect to win with him.

He already is perfect...set for life...win or lose. Go buy a bed...

I believe in Dak. He is my QB on my favorite team. I like him and I think he can bring us to the promise land. However, the later part of the year left a bad taste in my mouth. He has a lot of work ahead in order to get this offense back on track. But I have faith in him.

Some faith is wasted...on a thing that is.

I care about what Dak says about as much as I care what Jerry says. Ever seen the movie "They Live"? I can envision every player on this team looking like those revealed aliens, with the exception of Parsons, because he hasn't been turned yet.

lol...Actually, Dak could call JJ every thing in the book and talk bad about his wife and his children...hell, he could walk into JJ's office and piss on his desk and there is nothing JJ can do about it, is there?

What? Cut him? Uh, no...cost to much to get rid of him.

Trade him? Not now.

Bench him? (if he was a smart man)...so that option is gone.

JJ got grabbed by the short hairs by Dak, give it another 7 years and maybe those short hairs will grow back...just give Dak some time...(must be a really slow learner). He sure has us Cowboy fans fooled.
Childish response...from an angry person

But how did he become elite when he was a laughing stock after the 2016 season? He had three picks returned for a TD in like 4 games to start 2017 and completely sucked when Zeke was suspended. He went into 2018 where he left off in 2017, setting Quincy Carter records of futility in Dallas. In 2019, there were multiple stretches where Dallas was the worse TD scoring offense in football. And so on..

How does that translate into elite?

It doesn’t. He wants everyone to forget his 3 minutes and 3 timeouts on the clock and he couldn’t get it done. Just as he usually can’t. So just turn the page while I cash in my 75 million I made this year.

Most of the really good young QB's are in the AFC which is a good thing for Dak. Outside of Kyler I can't really think of a young top QB (and I think Kyler's a little overrated as is.) Maybe Trey Lance will be really good but we don't know yet.

man that is only 4.41 million per game !! what do you expect for that ??
actually he missed a game, so 4.6 mil a game this year, and he will be cheaper this season. @ 35 mil he only makes 2 million per game !;)

that isnt all on dak, it is on kellen mike and other off coaches too, also the other Off players.

Ceedee was a # 10 pick overall, and he made no impact at all this season, had bunch of drops, and just really doesnt impact games most of the time.
zeke didnt do much, pollard , they dont use him much lol and cooper wants more targets, but he doesnt get them.

Even aikman said they need to get the ball to their top guys in playoffs, and that wasnt done cooper had the early td catch, and not much after that.

Blah, blah blah. I’ll be glad when you’re gone!

Go root for another team then. If you can’t support the players if you like them or not, then you can’t support the team.
Otherwise you are just being a troll.

Critiquing come with the territory for ALL the players. Nobody will be more critical than their coaches that know them best. An example is LVE.....we can appreciate that he battled back from injuries but if he's hurting the team, he's gonna be criticized....not despised
Dak on his worst day would have LVE carrying his jock strap. I hate to say that. I was huge on LVE, but he's been disappointing. Not only physically which I expected, but he just seems to have NO dog in him. A good guy, but not the guy I wanted. I wish the best for him. Love the kid as a person.
