So, it's ok to rob others as long as you get overpaid?
Get what you can, the others can worry about themselves. It's only robbing in the eyes of those that can't get it or those that don't get it. Would you take a pay cut and money from your family to give it to coworkers that may or may not deserve it?

Funny, no one mentions the Billions that owners make, but 40 million for one man is outrageous.

Yes 40 mill is totally outrageous for a QB who has never won anything.

Owners???? How about Walmart, Target, McDonalds, the workers make how much?

You didn't mention QB, second, the point was how much money one man should be allowed to make.

How much should an Owner who hasn't won anything be allowed to make?

Did you really just say....

How much should an Owner who hasn't won anything be allowed to make?

You honestly don't see a difference between the owner/owners of a company a business from a football player, what??????????

No, I don't see the difference, and I'm just as perplexed that YOU don't see the difference.

This conversation just went over your head, so you enjoy your 40 million dollar rant.

I've honestly never seen a worse structure from a teams perspective.

Guaranteeing salary 18 months in advance of a season when the upcoming one is already guaranteed just handcuffs the team and Jerry let it happen.

It was essentially 4 for 60 fully guaranteed.

Has any RB ever even come close to that?

So it was....I'm going back to Cabo unless you make me the highest paid RB in history by far?

Let's not discount the precedent and example this sets for other players.

Now we have to let players go that we want to keep.

If I was making 10 mil/year, I absolutely would, no hesitation. Greed is not a good thing.

I took a 25% paycut late in my career to work closer to home so I could check on my dad on a daily basis....no regrets, but that was late in my career, i jumped at a job that gave me a 60% raise when i was younger to make sure that my family was taken care of..these young guys can be cut on a whim.....i don't blame them.

Dude, you really see a football player as being on the same level as the owner of a business/company? Hahahahahaha!!!!!!!

The Cowboys have one owner in Jerry Jones, now how many QB's have come and gone under his ownership? Think before posting ok rookie?

No, the ones getting huge contracts cannot be cut on a whim. That's only the borderline players and players who are a few years into their contracts who have already made a fortune.

I'd take 10 mil w/ a shot at winning a super bowl over 15 mil any day.

How did you get to this point in life where nothing means anything to you but money?

Had to care for my family....no debt for over 20 years, no student loans for my daughter, bought her a nice car and home at a CC.....she has no debt either.....my dad is taken care of as are my wife's mom and aunt that helped raise her. That's why.

Fair enough. Now, if you were already making 10 mil/year and they offered you more that would come directly out of the others' pockets, you still would choose greed?

Wrong!

Owners are something totally different than a player, and you have to be told this.

it’s cool dude, I realize this conversation is totally out of your depth.

Also, I would wait until I have been on the board for at least a year before calling someone a rookie.

You enjoy your evening.
