Hooray. Now we can afford to bring back the exact same team that couldn't win this year, coaches included. But this time, we're REALLY all-in!
What could this team realistically do to "Really go all-in"?
Given the realities this team faces?

New coaches? To fire the next year because the team didn't live up to whatever?
More coaches?

How about affording players? What they gonna do?
Peeps need to go. New, cheaper guys need to come in to replace them.

Coach them up?

No...
No.

Not dogging you, but someone put our team into this position.
And it wasn't the coaches.

The coaches don't matter.

That is the sad reality: we can't go all-in, because we have an owner who will never go all-in. He's seen to it we can't afford to sign talent in FA (and even if we could with the restructuring, he won't). The least he could do is purge the coaches that we know stink, but he won't. At least if we could get a real coach, we could begin work on the culture of this team, which is soft as Charmin. That at least would be something.

Who is this magical coach?

The only thing we're all in on, is Dak. For those of us that looked at Dak's contract the moment it was posted, we could see it was set up for a restructure right now. Old news. Not only that, but it screams extension as well. So don't be surprised when that happens. That's how the contract was drawn up. Barring something ridiculous happening, we have Dak for a minimum of 5 to 6 more years. I don't like it, but I will grin and bear it.

This seems like a good thing and It seems Dak is a team player willing to help us save cap room.

I’m not shocked Dak continues to get all the criticism he gets, and he does need to grow and play better, however he is a really great QB. Elite QBs don’t come around very often. I stay humble to that because I remember the QB search after Aikman, Quincy Carter, Chad Hutchinson, drew Henson, Bledsoe, & Vinny. I see other franchises struggle for years in that search, bears, skins for example.

I think we can win with Dak, he passes the eye test and he has had record breaking numbers, and has dominated the division. I think he can only get better. Every great QB had a slump this season or bad games we just had a bad game on our first Playoff game, it really sucks but it happens, look at Rogers.

I just hope we can continue to get Dak great coaching and development, and clean up the penalties and time management.
Dak sux!

Why? 6 years of choking and excuses not enough?

offensive line excuse has been proven a hoax, or is burrows just 10x better than dak? hum
Burrows pedigree tells me he will or should be much better than Dak. But let’s not forget that Burrows was struggling like most young QBs prior to his injury. His great year coincided with Chase joining him and breaking rookie WR records. They have a #1 receiver and they scheme him open, designing their offense around a little running from Mixon, some TE security throws, and leaning into throwing the ball to Chase.

We saw some of that from a healthy Cooper until Moore decided to treat him like the other two receivers and rely on his own brilliant play design and calls. Dak is limited, but he has a history going back to college of being accurate when guys get open. Dak isn’t going anywhere. Either treat Cooper like the #1 he is and design your pass game around him, or cut him if you are going to treat him like 1 of the three equal pieces on the board.

I like Lamb, Gallup, and Wilson, but in my opinion, Cooper is head and shoulders above all of them when healthy.

Unless dak starts running again he will ultimately fail. Josh Allen for all the hype he gets runs ALOT. Mahomes runs, Herbert runs, burrow runs, etc etc. We will beat nfc east teams and semi good teams but not the cream of the crop

Those guys see the field well, our guy doesn't

Right. Who cares about good coaching? We've proven we don't need it to win.
Anyone with a football brain in their head understands that any highly competitive team requires (3) three great personnel group resources - players, coaches, and executive management. Forum imbeciles not a must have.

Too late for that.

I suggested getting Tom Brady on a 2 year deal and letting Dak walk.. We’d be sitting nice right now.

I don’t know what this team is going to do really lol. They need a Super team to compete with all these juggernaut QBs. Luckily a lot of them play in the AFC.
NFC West: Stafford with a very good team to win this Sunday- and the next season (or two).
Wilson in a situation that appears confusing and indecisive.
Garopollo is gone when spring arrives - is Lance ready to direct a legitimate title contender?
Murray and his squad - started the last two seasons blazing hot, then fizzled out like a campfire getting extinguished.

NFC North : Goff and his team displayed some grit the last half of 2021.
Cousins about to get a rookie HC off to a rocky start in 2022.
Fields hoping his new HC will be a godsend for him in year two.
Will Rodgers leave for the west coast or the gulf coast?

NFC South: Brady is gone.
Will the promoted HC believe in Winston or Hill?
With a fading franchise legend lingering, can Darnold step up and take control in his second chance 2nd year?
Likely Ryan's last year of with the team that drafted him a decade and a half ago. His ending depends on what his GM and HC do in their 2nd year.

NFC East: Jones beginning his fourth season with his third HC.
Commanders' carousel - Heinicke, Fitzpatrick, Gilbert, Allen, Shurmer.
Hurts - gotta take a huge leap - especially with a 2nd-yr HC.
Given my off-the-cuff review \ look ahead.....Prescott has a promising path to lead the Cowboys to a deep NFC playoff run.
