completely disagree, LVE played well the second half of the season. I dont think Hitchens is capable of that in a starting role anymore.

Keep in mind there are very few really good NFL players in free agency that don’t cost much.

Every year Stephen Jones acts like the salary cap is such a huge burden to us. Meanwhile, the rams GM Les Snead, chiefs GM Brent Veach, TB GM Jason Licht and many other great GMs find creative ways to get some great FAs signed somehow within the salary cap limits. While SJ does a dumpster dive for FAs.

It is a handy built-in excuse designed to fool the stupid fanbase. It is pretty clear that the teams that now are willing to properly evaluate talent and roll the dice to trade draft assets for proven players or spend big in FA are benefitting.

Dallas deliberately chooses their course. This is by choice, not circumstance. The problem is "draft and develop" does not mean much when you are not developing anyone. While we "draft well", how many are cornerstones are getting that second deal, especially recently? Swinging and missing on prime draft capital like Taco Charlton, Jaylon Smith and even Vander Esch, all coming back to roost.

He was and still is a good, solid player who can play all 3 spots
I was all for letting him walk at the price but I liked him and if affordable, I’d like him back

He did play well the second half of season but he’s gonna be expensive and he Is a risky, long term signing because he didn’t play well the year before and has a injury history

Chiefs fans aren't too upset with him being gone. Their defense is bad so that tells you all you need to know. Hitch and Daniel Sorenson were two Chief players they are happy are gone.
