I think your panicking lol. The objective I’m sure is to either get a draft pick or a cheap veteran to play receiver. Brown is for depth and special teams.

Brown drops to many passes. When he started getting his shot he dropped a easy 5 yard TD pass. Right in his hands. I quit being a fan then. Guessing he will maybe play some TE in the 12 personnel since he can block. Or get in the way pretty good..

Generally. From what we've seen in the past, the Cowboys tend to try to make sure every position is filled before the draft with a player who can start at the position. (Note that I said start, not be worthy of starting.)

Not saying that there plan right now is to play Pollard at slot receiver if they lose Wilson, but I think it could be a consideration in the thought process for how much they are willing to pay Wilson. However, their thought process could be try to retain Wilson and if not, replace him with whatever third receiver we can get cheapest.

If we lose Wilson and cut Cooper, then I've got to hope we're planning on making Pollard the slot receiver. That gets him on the field a lot more than he has been and opens up some things that the offense can do. I'm actually hoping that we see more of Pollard no matter what, though.

I've been hoping that we see more of Pollard for 2 years now. We may, but not in a good way. May get a lot more garbage carries to keep Zeke fresh.
