Hard to get YAC when Running the comeback route, or sideline out.
And the balls late. Balls rarely ever there out of recievers break.

Here are the WR target numbers for Cowboys receivers in 2021:Coop isn't overrated, he just needs a QB who will throw him the ball. The BOYS overrated, underachieving QB the TEN TOE MEDIOCRE SLOTH formally known as DAK PRESCOT who is a lame *** frog gigger who only throws to his receivers when he's looking to put up elite numbers against TOADS!!!!!!
That was great in 2018. In the biggest game of the season he didn't show up when we needed it.The trade for Amari in 2018 completely turned that season around. We wouldn’t have made the playoffs without him. He made a number of clutch catches and contributed to several wins. Fans are trying to minimize losing him but we’re going to feel it. If anything he was underrated here.
Schultz has consistently been an excellent YAC player. For the life of me I cannot fathom how people haven't noticed. Dude is constantly weaving in and out and getting extra yards. His numbers make it crystal clear. I still can’t believe he had less YAC last year than Dalton Schultz, Cedric Wilson and Tony Pollard. He avg a little over 12 yds per reception the last two seasons. That’s possession receiver numbers not star #1 receiver numbers.
He’s a great route runner which makes him very valuable. But he’s not a big play threat every down like about 20 other receivers in this league. This team needs more than he can give.
Again, Coop is a very good receiver. At this point in his career, I see him as a really good possession receiver. Not a $20 mil a year star like he was being counted on to be.

so I assume that David carr was also a bum?Coop isn't overrated, he just needs a QB who will throw him the ball. Cooper pulled a Dez Bryant, he halfassed it and took himself out of games. Are we going to pretend that he didn't disappear? Go back and watch when he did play. I noticed a handful of times he was jogging routes. Not to mention he missed games. Makes sense that two other players outperformed him. I think he has more of an injury history than Gallup, no? I fully expect lamb to step up. He shows effort.Who did show up in the biggest game of the season? We didn’t get the most out of him but someone else will. Anyone who thinks we’re not going to feel his loss is kidding themselves. If we lose Amari and Cedrick Wilson, Noah Brown could end up being one of our starters next season with Gallup’s injury history. With the players we could end up losing there’s going end up being even more frustration at the end of next season.
offense was bad because we had Allen Hurns as the first WR, with Gallup (rookie) and Terrence "Stone Hands" Williams as the #2. that's on the GM for thinking Hurns can be a good #1 reciever.I don’t know if I agree with you here. The offense was hopeless before he came here and he instantly turned it around. He has had a disappointing season but I don’t think he’s been overrated on the whole here. If anything I think he’s been underrated. The biggest issue I have is that they don’t seem to have any plan to replace him and that is going to spell disaster in my opinion.
Dak had one of the better pass blocking Olines.Especially if we don’t fix the OL.
I wonder what his price is going to be...........Wilson is FA also and most likely will be gone .

Then again, who knows? The front office might let them all go.

Turners better then Brown, turners showed some skills..maybe hes the next Ced.wilson. we wont know until we do,... and we can draft another or pick up a cheap FA..i mean If Schultz, Lamb, Gallup aren't enough weapons with Pollard and Zeke etc we need to fire KM mid season. sometimes too many targets is an issue,.Who did show up in the biggest game of the season? can we finish and offseason, play few games before judgement, all these overreactions to moves within the first week of FA is just out of control MH
says you....back off the prediction Nostradamus and maybe that good thing need run game anyway..hollow azz stats dont cut it we were best with great run game the first 8 games with PA passes and efficient passing. When it because al passing we failed..big time. Retooling the Pas game with less options could be blessing in disguise once again Lamb and Galup could step up Schultz back and FA JUST STARTED, Draft hasnt happened its freaking March calm the flip down!!Both are average players. Ced is a really good receiver who stepped up every time he had an opportunity. If we lose him and Amari our receiving corp isn’t going to be close to what it was last season. We’re going to find out in the next couple of weeks or so just how different the Cowboys are going look in 2022. No one will be talking about how talented our roster is heading into next season.

once we did get cooper, the offense was good.
the question is can we do it with Gallup+CD (hope to keep wilson).
Cooper is a good WR, but is he worth 22M? can we do more with 10M for Gallup and 10M some other player?
Cooper is not a top 15 WR in the league. doesn't mean he is not good. its just that he is not a top 15 WR.

in the immortal words of the cheese head
RELAX
What I say is usually on the money. We’re going to end up downgrading at several positions. Rob Phillips said yesterday that Connor Williams is as good as gone which is no great loss but he seems to think the Cowboys may go with Connor McGovern who’s worse than Connor Williams. He can’t run block worth a crap. Retooling the passing game with less talented players isn’t going to be a blessing in disguise. lol Gallup is coming off an ACL and it usually takes two years for a receiver to return to form after that injury. He had two significant injuries last season. He’s becoming injury prone. Both he and CeeDee have issues with drops. The Packers can RELAX they have Aaron Rodgers and better teams than we do.
so you are now an expert in all things like running a sports team,, making predictions, and also add in being a doctor. lmao
the Egos on some of you keyboard gms are insane..how do you walk through a door with that huge head.. ie on point almost always HUH nonsenses , your talents are being wasted here Forest Gump..the do it all human who stuck on an internet forum for sports team,..wow im so impressed..
i'm surrounded by greatness..how do you have time to post so much while being an expert and should be just spending time in Vegas winning so much you need staff you carry your money and another to carry your ego..
TO dropped the ball more then average(accordig to experts) and is int he HOF a top 5 all time WR..
lets just calm down and see how lamb and Gallup can take the next step and step up and make up for no AC..
acl doesn't take 2 years to recover from sorry false info he will be full go after 9 months. ive had it done and participate in extreme sports and im 52..had the acl done in 2018..not an issue i know other including nfl players that were back full go in 9months a yr at the ,longest but all people heal differently., I do wear sports brace and so could he..you are purposefully exaggerating the situation to fit your narrative,
rogers has one primary receiver we would have Gallup and Lamb, sorry but i don't care about your predictions, we will watch and find out.
The TEN TOE MEDIOCRE SLOTH formally known as DAK PRESCOT had some of his best games against the TOADS that are littered throughout the NFL. It's what didn't get accomplished against the better teams that the Boys faced that burns the Cowboy Nation. The SLOTH transformed himself into a FROG GIGGER hunting TOADS to build up his stats. Once Coop is released and pickup by let's say Denver, he'll probably win COME BACK PLAYER OF THE YEAR with Wilson throwing to him non-stop and we'll all be struck with the TEN TOE MEDIOCRE SLOTH!Here are the WR target numbers for Cowboys receivers in 2021:
These 3 receivers had the most targets on the team in 2021. It’s not like the Cowboys didn’t throw the ball. They finished with 647 pass attempts in 2021, the 6th most in the league. It’s just that the Cowboys threw to a lot of different receivers.
- Cedee Lamb- 121 targets in 16 games- (7.56 targets per game) 79 receptions- 1,102 yds, 13.9 yds per catch
- Amari Cooper 105 targets- in 15 games (7 targets per game) 65 receptions- 865 yds, 12.7 yds per catch
- Dalton Schultz 104 targets in 17 games (6.1 targets per game) 78 receptions- 808 yds-10.4 yds per catch
