I’ll be honest…I dislike Dlaws attitude more than his salary. He represents the trickle down from the FO of guys who talk too much and don’t do enough. It’s a leadership void that annoys me. Hope he’s gone

Agree 100%.
It is his attitude more than the contract. Injured often, but talks a big game.

Typical one year being healthy in a contract year, and finally produced. Nothing since then.

meh ,..Werner not the most reliable source ,..
I started a post weeks ago, about who would you keep if you had to decide: Cooper or DLaw? We both said DLaw if I remember. This draft is shaping up as a offensive one to address OL, WR, TE.

I know it won’t happen because we don’t do free agency but theoretically is there a way to keep d law Gregory and sign Bobby Wagner?

Wasn't Dez released after he declined a pay cut, a few other players?

I don't see it happening right as FA starts. They could wait a few weeks on their options. Then let DLaw be pissed he missed out on top $$$ as a FA, that he probably thinks he deserves.

NO! They flat out released Dez w/o asking for a pay-cut. In other words, Linehan and Stephen wanted him gone.......real bad

I thought Cooper was overpaid and not worth the cap space
These reporters don't know what they are talking about half the time. Too much false reporting goes on these days. Just saw one on Google that said they may be out bidded on Wilson.

When you consider they have plenty of reason to move on from DLaw, if this is true, it means Quinn is on the table for him.

I would keep Cooper and let Gallup go

I get this, but I think we need to look at this in the context of the full roster. Gallup for Cooper by itself is a downgrade. But Gallup and Kearse for Cooper may be worth the trade off. We have to see what they can accomplish with the money they save.

The problem with our fanbase is they see everything in black or white (i.e. "this guy is awesome.....this guy sucks").

No impact?

In just 7 games last year Lawrence put up the following:

21 tackles
3.0 sacks
5 TFL
5 PD
2 FF
1 INT
1 TD

Is that DMVP production?

No, but to act like he's not a good quality DE is simply dumb.

I'm glad the player is staying. He's really really good. Just hope they can do something, anything to lower that cap hit. It's simply too much money

I agree. I think he is a quality player but I also think at 27 Mill and the Cowboys trying to free up cap space something has to give.

I don’t think the Cowboys’ cap situation can afford to wait.

For sure.

I hope something can be worked out because if he leaves there will be a void and no, I don't think Chauncey Gholston can fill it, lol.
