All the things happening right now are just repercussions from what happened this time last year.

Everybody knew that we would be forced to lose talent because of cap reason.

There are no surprises in these moves. This team will gradually get worse for the next couple of years.

Our only chance of having a good OL this season is having big years from Tyron, Zack and La'el.

They get dumber by the year.
Ya....but with La'el at LG, Steele at RT

For years I watched New Eng and Green Bay retain solid OLines with nothing more than 6th round picks
We have seen positive effect the right oline coach has
Steele improved in spite of ....

Based on what? Your personal recollection? Your opinion just proves you don't know what any other RT in the league is doing. The fact is that when La'El played, he was one of the highest graded RTs in the NFL over the season. He is probably the best run blocker at his position in the league. 10M makes him one of the better bargains in the league. Further proof of that is that Dallas is fielding trade offers for him.

Its like all the La'El Collins haters have collected their ignorant opinions in one thread.

Maybe you need to work on your reading comprehension. I was talking about Steele having 2 good games. LC was just fine.

Coop? Inconsistent
Gregory? Inconsistent
Collins? Inconsistent
Williams? JAG

Lawrence is back. Gallup is likely back.

I am convinced that if Dallas signed Bobby Wagner you guys would complain they overpaid him

The defense wasn't the problem last year, so signing Wagner won't make that much of a difference in the grand scheme of things. I'd be all for the signing though because I think he's great.

The problem was the offense and how inconsistent they were at all levels. Losing talent on the offensive side of the ball and not being able to replace them with equal or better talent is not a recipe for success.

The 2022 Dallas Cowboys will 100% be worse than the 2021 Dallas Cowboys.

I agree. And our owner wining and dining Sean Payton while we have a HC is the biggest issue. Also praising DQ as HC material.

Jerry is the problem. The problem with the Cowboys for 27 years and counting HASNT BEEN ON THE FIELD.

I am sure you will take a shot at Dak which is fine. However many QBs before him failed too. Is he a part of the problem? Yes if he doesnt work on getting consistent. Is he THE problem? No.

What are you talking about?

We have a crap ton of FA's this year. Did you expect to sign them all?

Trading an overated Collins while you can get something for him is the right move. No please....we HAVE to keep the guy who had 9 penalties in 10 games! We need that!

According to most, they weren't that good and only won 12 games as the conference stunk.

So the descend to the pits of lava shouldn't be far.

Dont bother with him. Its always a Dak bash fest. Regardless of the title of the thread. You can book it.

Cowboys trading away inconsistent assets for draft capital and cap relief.

LETS PILE ON DAK. lol

*Checking my notes here...

Says here that SF held the ball for 34 minutes in our playoff loss.

Also says here that they rushed for 169 yards and two tds. Seems like Wagner could help that.

I don't trust Collins to stay in shape.

I don't trust Collins to not miss his next piss test even if a years salary is on the line.

He is better than Steele but one makes 9 million + more than the other and we have cap problems.

The OL has high picks, hall of famers, big contracts....and it's STILL a problem.

Shake it up somehow. Firing the coach isn't an option apparently.

The Cowboys and 49ers both had 11 drives.

The Cowboys held the 49ers to under their season average in points per game.

You can twist it anyway you want, but we had just as many chances as the 49ers had, but our offense failed just as the ones that knew what they were watching said they would do.

You are still in shock, surprised, and clearly in denial at that game because you thought we were better than we really were. You are not one of those that knew what they were watching leading up to the game.

LOL. The guy always preaching context unless it destroys an argument of his.

The offense struggled mainly because of self inflicted wounds every single drive. The offense was at 1st and 20 multiple times. Big plays were nullified by stupid block in the back penalties or holds.

You want context when it suits you. Be objective. Dak had a horrible game. I can say it. But to say penalties weren't a HUGE problem in that game is pointing to an agenda.
