For alot of other reasons. He isnt wrong in that having local talent not count against the 30 is a big advantage for Dallas

I think the interest in Burks is real and not a smokescreen. He is a top 15 player on NFL but could fall to 24 due to his combine numbers. The same with Kenyon Green. Linderbaum could fall due to size and positional value. They should have a good group to choose from in round one.

Burks game is very similar to Dez Bryant, I think if he is there. it will be hard for the team to pass him.

NFL just updated their top 100 rankings and with the Ojabo injury Burks is in the 9-12 range. He did have a higher draft grade but the Combine dropped him a little.

It is quite possible a receiver could sit atop of their board at 24. I believe their interest with Burks is legitimate and they would jump at the chance if he makes it to their pick. As you said, he can go much higher, but more of a value pick at our range.

I think so too. I don't know what to think of him, honestly. I could see him having a big career like Deebo or Dez, but I could also see him fizzling out in the NFL against better athletes

I see him being very similar to Dez, neither are going to have over the top speed, but they will win many 50/50 balls, are beasts after the catch and are huge red zone targets. I have seen some compare him to AJ Brown as well. If not for all our other needs, he would be atop of my Cowboys board.
