not a miss

if Jones wanted him bad enough, he would have removed the clause and apologized got back RG by massaging his ego, he let him walk.

its blessing in disguise,

give it up

Mr. 6.5 career sacks is not huge loss..DA, overpaid?? nearly identical stats in the same snap% as Gregory from Armstong, half the cost. Fowler has twice the career stats hes an Equal player to Gregory so we got two players nearly as good as Gregory for less money with no history of suspension or inurys,.lmao ok my keyboard gm..

no misses', strategic moves once THEY DECIDED to allow RG to walk.

these arent reaches go back into your dark office in your gaming chair and dual headset and calm the flip down. Go back to virtual REALITY, True REALITY ISNT your thing.

trying to spin this to hate on Jones is your issue, its an obvious troll post if you feel somehow RG was the key to our success or failure this season. :lmao2: his zero sacks and critical pentyl in the playoff game is RG:popcorn:

Quite Funny, But you are not even close to what I am thinking.

I would have tried to upgrade from Gregory. I would have had a Plan A (Miller, Jones, Z Smith), he would have been my Plan B. The Jones' Plan A was Gregory, I don't think they thought he would sign elsewhere. They did not read the situation correctly. I'm not for bringing the band back together again. I want improvement with upgraded Pass Rush. Don't think we have that

I would classify a great player as someone who is consistently in the top 5 at their position. D Flaw is a good player who had a couple of borderline great years when it mattered to him financially. Aside from those two years he has had pretty much 6 other disappointing years. But you know how the saying goes. We like our guys.

I get this but are we that much better with Dante Fowler? Nope.

But you'll be calling that a great signing soon enough.

Sounds like you're setting the bar pretty high for what a great player is. Do I expect him to make the hall of fame? No. Is he a top 15 DE in the league? Probably.
A Great Player is one going to the HOF. No way Dlaw is. You are football stupid to think Dlaw is a great player.

I bet you quote sack numbers out the wazoo and think you understand the DE position.

Do you know how many sacks Charles Haley had in 1992 when he took our defense "to the next level" and Cowboys won the super bowl? 6.
How about how many sacks did Haley have when they repeated in 1993? 4.

Sacks in the playoffs (6 games!) during those years? 2.5.
No you are football ignorant. To start with tell me any games that Dlaw really made a HUGE difference.
NONE
Then tell me how many pro bowls and All PROS has he had?
I am waiting
Another football fool thinking Dlaw is a great player

"dont think" thats the issue

you dont know...

at the very least its the same..not improved but on par i already stated why you are overrating Gregorys 6.5 sacks and ignoring Fowlers career production being twice that of Gregroy and comes from the Quinn tree, they virtually the same player for cheap we don't lose Armstrong and get fowler for the same total price if not less then Gregory without losing production.

because need vs BPAS there's an order now if the ones i listed aren't clearly better then say a WR/TE sure its would have to be clear cut but no i say 3rd/4th round in deep wr class is best.. if you dont think Lamb, Gallup, Washington, brown, possibly turner,. and Simi etc isnt a solid WR core with schultz back etc you've been brainwashed that we need to stack Wrs we do not, thats a better wr core right now then the packers and id say at least 16 other nfl teams have,,

we actually need TE far more unless sprinkle and McKeon takes a step. IMO wr way down the list.

so im out on taking a wr earlier then 3rd round, we got Gallup in the 4th far bigger holes elsewhere..
I want O-Line and DT and maybe a LB. BPA at the time. But I think we may need to use the 1st pick on O-Line unless we score in FA. Collins hurt. I know he isn’t what he was this past year. But we lost a starter. And needed Williams gone all last season. He was hurting us. Now who is to say if a needed position player falls to us that is a top player at 24 or when ever we pick. Defense with the LB signings is ok. Not great but no worse. D-Line maybe worse. Depending on what Fowler is bringing. Gregory brought pressure but also flags. Parsons can play both spots DE or LB. Has Von been signed yet. I agree that our WR group is fine. And maybe a 5th rounder is ok. But I want heavy trenches draft.

Oh and a new O-Line coach please..Lol.

Thank you.

It's quite annoying how sacks stats only are used as a qualifier around here.

The QB has to have a certain level of cooperation as well.....as in take the sack vs throw away.

Pressures and hurries are a big thing as well.

He gets the edge quick. But gets some flags. Hoping Parsons gets better this offseason at rushing. Maybe he can draw some offensive holding calls. I want to see us stop the run better..

Do yourself a favor and don't. Just don't. I walk out on to my porch on a nice clear midnight and look up into the sky. I'd love to see alien spacecraft, or any anomaly for that matter, but I don't go out there expecting it. Or else I'll be disappointed.

This is not to say it can't happen. I may one day see odd lights in the sky. Just like I might see Dallas sign Smith or Wagner.

……we’d probably shoot it out if the air if it’s using fossil fuel.
