I may not have liked Gregory, but it doesn't mean I think Fowler is better.
no you totally misunderstand what I said....players change teams all the time, doesn't mean they can't be good. but when the 3rd over all pick, often the cornerstone of a franchise, expected to be an elite level player, is traded after 3 years for a 3rd round pick, having been on a team that needed as much talent as possible, then the team that traded for him lets him go after one season and 11.5 sacks. that should tell you enough. now his third team is letting him walk. 11.5 sacks was his best ever and seemingly based on past two years he is going down hill and going down hill fast.
I didn't say that neither, you are just diverting.....Quinn also wanted gregory, I am sure Jerry had talked to quinn and MM and asked their opinions and seemingly both approved since Jerry made an offer....
not sure what you were trying to accomplish with that line. but yeah, you are diverting.
Parsons as great as he may become, was still a rookie. and Lawrence to me is an average player, another Jerry bad signing, and my expectations/hope was for him to be released this off season and we can move on. plus Lawrence was injured for good part of the year.
now, it remains to be seen how Fowler will do in Dallas. I hope I am wrong. I will eat crow if I am wrong about him. but at this point, right now, its not an improvement, given cowboys and denver both wanted Gregory. both offered him large contracts. fowler was an after thought when our offer was rejected. but again, I hope I am wrong about fowler.
