as much as you follow this team, you should know the type of coach that the Jones' boys want, a puppet coach and they got one who just put up a 12-5 season, division title and a playoff birth, he is in no way a lame duck coach in the eyes of Jerry and Stephen, this is exactly what they want.

This meeting has nothing to do with how we'll finish the season, but it's just another example of not being fully in. I can't really blame the guy, because he has been set up to fail anyways.

But anyways, refer to things like this when we're struggling during the season and you just cannot understand what's wrong, okay?

is that all you got is to throw Sean Payton out there? let me school you one more time, Stephen will never signoff on the draft capital, and the type of contract and power Sean would want...so you can forget him coming here next year. If the wheels fall off this season, DQ or even KM is in place to get strung up.

Not sure why everyone hates on big Mike. He's been here while we put together a pretty solid coaching staff with the exception of Moore which he had no say in. And a 12 win season. Pretty nice IMO.

Some of the same fans/posters wanted Urban Myers. Let me get this right, just because he decided to spend his time wisely working on free agency/draft, rather a social gathering ( make no mistake, that is what the meeting is about) you guys are still going after him. I understand he's not your cup of tea or you're disappointed but that's silly, ANY hard work deserves credit.......

Sean Payton will have multiple suitors if he chooses to coach again. Not sure why some assume his dream is to be Jerry's next puppet.

Take a look at the Gruden/Raiders contract and add 25%.

I very well know Jerry doesn't want to pay that....or a HC at ALL....but what has to be understood is that while us fans feel his departure is a good thing....HE thinks they are losing a great asset.

So I would guess he wants to leave the franchise to someone he trusts. Meaning....the kid plus someone who knows football as well as he thinks he does....Sean Payton.

10 years, 135 million. No Jerry, half say in personnel. Full say on the staff.

He will be here for that offer and its coming.

Jerry isn't ever quitting, then handing the ball to a Kellen Moore. Those zero experience types are only useful to him if he could gloat while active.
