Ok lets say jerry put you in charge of cowboys 2 weeks ago, would you have tried to get hill?
This includes that jerry wanted amari gone regardless.
Also I dont know hill , but whether I like him or not, I know his value to a team. So that is what is important
if your a GM.

Hill is a dynamic WR, one of the fastest wr, and importantly he is good at catching a short to midrange pass
and getting yac, breaking a big run off a short pass.

This is what dak needs, more than a guy who can run deep passes, as dak is 50 50 on those longer passes.

you can use hill on a reverse, in backfield, short, medium , and long.

He is also good at clearing areas, and getting dbl covered to clear a area for another wr.

He would have been perfect for Dak.

And if I had to trade lamb to get picks back, I would then trade lamb.

Hill is by far better than lamb.

So jones boys made no effort or try to get him, is that stupid? If you try and fail, thats ok, and I dont
mean stephen low balling hill lol.

I was just watching the kc dallas game , and KC is going to miss hill, they were stupid to not resign him.
and I cant believe Miami of all teams got him ! So many teams besides dallas blew a chance at one
of the best wr in the nfl.

No for several reasons.

  1. Draft compensation, giving up 1st round picks for wire receivers don't usually pan out. Joey Galloway, Roy Williams, Amari Cooper we traded 1st round picks for them and all underperformed
  2. Paying 30M to receive is bunkers
  3. Dak is no Pat Mahomes, productivity for Hill wouldn't be the same with Dallas

I would love for Dallas to get themselves a legit 4.2 WR. But not at the price Hill went for.

Besides, I watch the first Cowboys-Washington game on NFL network today. After watching Dak throw that pick 6 with 4 minutes left I concluded that WR is not the Cowboys biggest problem.

Tyreek Hill would be much more expensive than what a miser like Stephen Jones would accommodate.

Sorry to say so, but that's a pipe dream. We'd surely be blessed to sign another WR to compare to him.

If this season's version of the Cowboys would only resolve our problems with the OL, we'd be fortunate.

without Hill and his other WRs he lost, Mahomes will be Dak. Book it.

If I had been in charge, mates, I'd have taken Jerry's party/stripper bus and taken me favorite CZ lads on a pub crawl.
Amber, Jade, Chelsea, Tiffany and Jade Would hold a seminar on the bus on inside defensive line feints and I would sing mum's fave songs.

We'd all get tiddly with Jerry's liquor cabinet.

Well without hill, defenses will be able to handle the kc offense a lot easier.
TB's gameplan was to dbl hill and dont let him do much and that is how they beat kc.

Mahomes is still good, but they lost a big part of their offense.

ok after reading the comments, hill I think is only making 23 mil a year not 30, and you could get the picks back by trading lamb.

Are you guys going to say lamb is better than tyrek ??

No!
Focus on the trenches. Protect the quarterback, run the football.
Focus on the trenches. Stop the run, get after the quarterback.
well your talking about a lot there , not 1 player.

That all will be done thru the draft and maybe new coaches would help.
