The Rams are not afraid to take big swings in free agency.

The Jones boys don't trust their own judgment to take such risks anymore, and probably for good reason.
Big swings=Big misses most of the time.

Sure seems that way.

So....they are smart for realizing they are dumb?

Lol.....sounds like a lifetime pass to mediocre-ville if you ask me.

Do the Rams have a salary cap, orrrr?
Your talking about LA....the NFL is desperate to make football popular again there....because the league needs the revenue . it's a dieing sport. Been saying that for years now...the league will never admit it.

This offseason has become one big question mark.

These are assumptions so bear with me:
FO pays QB elite contract implying it's a win now team. I mean, you don't pay that kinda QB money if your mindset is a re-build.

And THEN this off season the total exodus of said QB's WR1, RT1, LG1, and WR3.
Defensively, the best pass rusher is lost.

All of these moves made without attempts at restructures or extending down the road contracts of the lost players. With the exception of the pass rusher.

And NOW...
The replacement players slated to start are not as good as the lost homegrown players or cheap free agents acquired to replace them..

Why do you pay the QB that kinda contract if your intent is not to surround him with as much "legitimate" help as possible.

And Around The League:

Tampa gets Brady and aggressively surrounds him with as much help as possible.

The Rams grab Stafford and follow suit of the Tampa Bay model sparing no expense towards cap savings or being afraid to grab quality.

The Broncos...

Heck, the Dolphins and Browns even...

I truly am at a loss on how this management views "how to improve your team", smh.

They actually only paid a two for Miller since they will get every bit of the very first comp pick (late 3rd) after that deal he signed.

Oh wait.....is he eligible for a comp pick being traded mid season? Not sure.

If so.....Gilda Radner voice.....nevermind.

Go ahead and cry me a river for the salary cap. There is no cap hell, no such thing. Our ownership does not care about winning.
When fans realize this, it will change otherwise it will never end.
Boycott going to the stadium, let them play in an empty stadium, or sell the team. There is no other option.

Finally a fan that isn’t brainwashed

@America's Cowboy LOL. What did I say yesterday? Are you going to say our FO is on par with the FO that just won a championship? Or do you want to just say say that I was right and apologize for being a dbag?

They lost Von Miller, OBJ, Heckar and a couple of other starters.

No draft to speak of.

Yesterday I remember reading and no one is giving him the money he is looking for. He'll get about 5 or 6m per year lmao. But hey we spent that on a slightly above avg te....

Yeah and big mouth who I am waiting for a response for is dead quiet. Go figure. Guy had the audacity to tell me I was wrong multiple times only to look like an absolute buffoon right now.

So what? They are making another run at a Superbowl. That will be 3 appearances in 5 years. We havent been to the NFCCG in 27 years. What is your point? They want to win and we are content sitting on our hands doing nothing to get better because "draft picks are super important"? lol. Sorry. No. The Rams are showing the NFL what to do to win. Stephen and Jerry are being laughed at around the league while they save their cap dollars and draft picks that they dont use to move up in the draft.
