Wentz has never been a decent quarterback. He's always been below average. People trying to compare him over Prescott is hilarious!

LOST IN TRANSLATION

Many of the signal-callers on this list are failed first-round picks or viewed as ‘hold the fort’ players but should not be considered as building blocks.

26. Jalen Hurts: Not for everyone but there are some believers in his corner that he could succeed.

27. Jameis Winston: It has been a story of turnovers and injuries for the one-time 5,000-yard passer.

28. Jared Goff: Could get another one-year lease in Detroit until they figure it out.

29. Carson Wentz: Is expected to be shipped off to his third team in as many seasons after a late-season debacle.

30. Teddy Bridgewater: Enters year eight with just one winning season, which came six years ago.

31. Taylor Heinicke: It remains to be seen if he is the long-term fix but he is worthy of an opportunity to prove it.

Don’t do Teddy like that. He was dealt a horrible hand, has never really been given a chance, and seems like an alright person.

But how exactly did he “go Hollywood”? Did he work out less? And how do you know his level of commitment, specifically? If you don’t have proof, it’s speculation.
Really? Seriously, you're asking that again after 15 years of showing videos, pictures and reported articles proving how Romo went Hollywood during his early years as soon as he got the starting job during the 2006 season?

Going Hollywood how? Was he doing things other QBs don't do, or was he just photographed more because he was the QB of the Dallas Cowboys?

What videos and pictures are you referring to, specifically? Was there confirmed stories of him blowing off practice? What proof beyond speculation? Show us one picture or a link that proves he valued fame and fortune more than football. He dated starlets? What unmarried NFL QB is NOT surrounded by beautiful/famous women, especially the QB of the Dallas Cowboys? He attended parties and celebrity events, but who doesn’t at that level? Just show proof that he spent more time on fame than football.

I’m not being facetious, just requesting a simple answer to a simple question. Hollywood Romo has been your narrative for years, but I’ve read in depth articles (ESPN, Sports Illustrated) that say otherwise.

It was based on the Cabo Romo vacation in the bye week. Of course those same Romo-haters tend to ignore the fact Jason Witten, the blue-collar hard worker that never takes a rep off, was right there with him.

"Earlier this 2009 offseason, Jerry Jones emphasized the need for Romo’s leadership and focus to increase in order to bring the Cowboys back to playoff glory by saying, "I think his leadership role will naturally foment…him exerting leadership is a big ingredient to us winning". Was Jones really saying, "Lose the blond and get serious”, apparently so as Romo is now a single quarterback again."

Read the whole article. ^^^ Good stuff in there.

This is only 1 out of many articles during those early Romo starting years which were circulating at the time. So please stop with the deflections and acting ignorant posts as if Romo never went Hollywood and how it affected the Cowboys teams back then...when it actually did.

Witten was Romo's partner-in-crime, hence I never trusted him. I remember both showing up to a post-game interview in Minnesota after the Cowboys had just lost to the Vikings. Both Witten and Romo were obviously badly sunburned. The reporters asked them about it, and Witten admitted he and Romo had gone to an open arena rock concert the day before (Saturday) when the Cowboys had already flown into Minnesota for their Sunday match-up. Just like they both (along with Barbie Carpenter) took off to Cabo during the 2007 playoffs, these 2 clowns were out going to a rock concert and getting all sunburned a day before an away game while away.

No where in that article does it say anything about Romo 'going Hollywood'. They talk about how Romo had trouble winning games in December, which he did, and he was roasted for taking the trip to Cabo the week before that pivotal playoff game. I too was beside myself at the lack of focus at that point of the season and roasted his butt as hard as anyone else did. I absolutely hated his sorry butt for that stunt. But please point out where it says that anyone is/was critical of Romo for going Hollywood.

He dated a Hollywood personality - thats it. And so what? I would have shagged her too if the chance came up. Big damn deal.

No, he didn’t. You haven’t proven anything except this— you decided the team’s failures needed a scapegoat, you didn’t like Romo, and you used the sensationalized speculation of yellow journalists to validate this Hollywood crap. Read what his teammates said!

Save your breath, brochephus! You’re not convincing anyone!

6 years later and you and some of your Romo apologetic bunch are still whining. Sheesh. Not surprising.

Either reading comprehension is not your strong suit or you're making excuses as usual just like many years before. No surprise here.

You still failed to point out where the words 'go Hollywood' are mentioned in the article. The word Hollywood is only mentioned in the credits at the end of the article.

By the way, why the hell are you digging up a 13 year old article that proves Romo wasn't focused on his job? Everyone already knew it then.

Any I'm sure as hell not making excuses for Romo, I couldn't stand the S. O. B. You didn't know it because I wasn't on DC.com trashing him every other post like you used to do. Remember the comment he made about being happy whether he wins a super bowl or not? I was already done with him before that, but that was really the final nail.

All I ask is that you stop being a hypocrite. You want everyone to love Dak and stop hating when that was you 24/7 back on the old DC.com board. Why is it not OK now (concerning Dak) when it was OK for you back then about Romo?

As long as we’re speculating, I’d wager they put a significantly larger amount of time into football prep.
