What we need is some of these mid round draft picks to step up and actually be something instead of just repeating the "we draft well" mantra until people believe it.

At this point, the definition of "drafting well" is apparently not busting your top picks for a few years in a row.

In one breath its.....build through the draft, then when 3rd rounders make nearly no impact its like....oh they aren't expected to be great as 3rd rounders.

Which is it, and how would that math ever add up?

The "we draft well" thing is a myth also. Because if we drafted well then we wouldn't rotate winning the division every year with the other trash in our division. If we draft well then so do the Eagles, Commanders, and Giants because we all take turns winning the division every year.

Disagreed. If you have last years team (Coop, Gregory) included and you go sign Bobby Wagner and trade for a guy like Von Miller, there is no doubt this team is the top 3. Rams obviously … Bucs are a year older and Rodgers has no weapons. Outside of that it's wide open this year in the NFC.

Regardless of how people think, this team is still projected to win the East, win 10+ games and likely lose a first round playoff game. If you add a few SOLID pieces they are in contention for top 3.

Jerry's team building has lead to 3 playoff wins in 26 years but he STILL has the ability to make fans believe they are only a couple pieces away.

Right....and no real attempt to add talent is made in FA, so how does that all add up to a winning team?

Some sort of combination of last year's guys not named Parsons and the top guys from the upcoming draft need to step it up if they are gonna keep selling that line.
