Or we could brag about our stellar offseason that took place just a couple of months after we won a superbowl. Something far too many Cowboys fans do not know the feeling of unfortunately. I am just going to assume you forgot that small part rather than just leaving it out of your statement.

Thankfully I have been around for our 5. I remember stellar offseasons after winning a superbowl ('92 into '93). Sorry to those who haven't had that chance.

But why don't Dallas spend more in free agency? Jerry is a multi billionaire and a fantastic businessman. I can't have it that he's just being tight.

It must be about principle and having had his fingers burned with a couple of free agents in the past, I think he decided hey we aren't going to get screwed over again.

But the successful teams use the draft and spending in free agency to complement one another, so if that's the case then he's just shooting himself in the foot.
