I think this is an example of a generational, cultural, and life background divide.
Those who can’t imagine getting in a car with guys carrying guns cannot relate because they don’t carry guns and because they haven’t lived the life these guys have lived. While I don’t know what it’s like to live their lives as well, I’m 65 and have had a concealed carry permit for 30 years. No one knows when I’m carrying or not unless I tell them.

Heres the thing...

It says a lot about your critical thinking skills if you are willing to risk your freedom and life over no financial gain.

I am assuming there was no money on the line...no power to gain by killing Ray. Only thing gained was "im hard". Hes a fool.

If this "real" or "hard" lifestyle helps him make money in Baton Rouge...I highly highly suggest someone tell him to go back to Baton Rouge.

If I lived that life, 100% of my entire energy in life would be to do whatever I could to get out of that life. Heck if I was a parent, I would move outta there ASAP. Work for a year, save up enough money to buy a couple bus tickets and move out to the country to a small town and a better life. Waiter, be a cook, odd jobs, whatever I had to do.

Those that blame others for their problems will rarely get anywhere in life.

Because in some states you can be linked to the actual crime. Like aiding and abetting. But you're right, the last thing I would do is go to the police. I'd try to slither away. But now we got cameras all over the place.

Anyone that says they would run straight to the police is lying. Especially if they were your buddies. No way could he know that he would be caught on camera. What the hell was he doing hanging out the window? Another bad decision.

The choice to draft this guy was a terrible decision. Didn't the Cowboys learn anything with Pacman Jones? There were several better choices and the FO goes for a gangster because of measurables? WTH? There were red flags everywhere

CR, what I'm saying is I wouldn't have drafted this guy to begin with. Waaay too many red flags. Once again, a terrible 2nd round pick

possibly, but I was thinking, if kj talked to them before he talked to police, he could tell them to make him look innocent, and he will hire them a top notch lawyer,'
and pay them off a big sum when they get out of prison.

And with a good lawyer, they might get off with a lower murder chg or manslaughter ( that sounds worse than murder lol), if they said it was a accident, that they were firing over their heads, or that
was their intention. So reduced sentence, out on parole in 5 years, and bossman rat pays them off.
you been watching too much TV. Aiming at the sky, an accident, I was only cleaning the gun and it went off...... the shooter is going to do serious time.

I would give him one more chance and that's it.

If he doesn't lose his NFL career after being charged with murder. If this doesn't teach him a lesson nothing will. I would tell him if this happens again don't even worry about coming to the facility because your things will be in the garbage before you get out of jail.
KJ has been charged with Murder?

The easy answer for that is have the Cowboys release him. Stay tuned for that. I wonder if he will participate in OTAs, that will tell you were Jerrah stands.
If he aint in jail, why wouldnt he participate. Its football, yes? Character counts.... only if you can play football at a high level...lol

Can't get more detrimental unless he's more involved. And now he has to worry about what the others tell the cops about what he knew. I'd bet the farm he was not an innocent bystander.
My guess as well, but if he isnt charged in this, Im ok with him suiting up. I know we have very different views on this, but Id sign OJ Simpson tomorrow if he could give us 1600 yards.

I work in federal law enforcement and carry for work, from the reports it sounds like it was bad decisions being made all around from a fight to the shooting.

The report also indicates that someone was carrying a weapon as a felon with KJ, continuing the bad decisions for that night.

I remember one where the woman saw an intruder at the door to their bedroom. Short on time, she reached for the gun underneath her husbands pillow, blowing brain matter all over the intruder's face, scaring him away. I added the brain matter, but for the most part the story was true. LOL, she did not get away with it.

Violence is violence.

There’s still a difference between being in the military and murdering someone.

a big one.
Yeah, military incursions kill thousands. While a knuckle will only kill a few. So I agree with you there is a big difference.
:omg:

I'm just picking you, just to let you know.

Agreed but I bet that film was destroyed that night. The videographer is going to say he stopped filming when he left the club. But you never know, Joseph has already snitch so maybe he gave the police the video as well.

I find it freaking HILARIOUS that a few people in here seem to have more of a problem with KJ "Snitching," than being involved in the actual incident. Grow the hell up. Snitches get stitches are for thugs and those in prison. Are you one of them?
