I would be afraid to jot that down anywhere my wife might see it. :omg: She uses a smoke alarm as a timer.

My wife's crunchy sausage patties are ok with a large amount of Tabasco on them.

@Aerolithe_Lion isn't passionate about the Cowboys, and there are others who aren't Cowboys fans.

Who says I’m not passionate about the Cowboys?

My wife told me one day that she just burned 2000 calories. I didn’t know what the hell she was talking about. She said she left a big tray of brownies in the oven while she napped.

I’ve been sitting down during this back-and-forth. This topic has gone from football to food to one-liners. That may be why this board is addicting.
You're traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. That's the signpost up ahead - your next stop, the Twilight Zone!

Don’t remind me I liked that show. I’m still stuck in the 60s and 70s with everything I watch and listen to.

We need to "exchange" the GM !
LOL
the "exchange" in my user name has nothing to do with (trading in the cowboys)Btw

It's a terminology I use for an outside business venture like the Stock Exchange lol.

We all know Stephen Jones is not going anywhere.

That wouldn't be the Cowboy Way LMAO

I Just wish he would improve at his job. And quit coddling and overpaying all of the players we drafted.

Drafting and contracting players earlier is vital. Waiting until you're bent over the Barrell is not cost effective.

There's just too much meat left on the bone by not using fa earlier and more effectively than we are.

We need to put more draft stock and capitol into the starting #1 and #2 te positions.
Were not ever gonna get a Gronk and Hernadez shopping undrafted players and bargain bin scrubs for 1 million. Same goes for safety. Lol

Bwaaaa Haaa Haaa...........

So you think you can leave?

Go ahead, try........

You'll think you've succeeded, but then, at the appointed time of Game #1, you'll feel a curious sensation as if you are missing something important. You'll try to blow it off and ignore it. You'll try to go somewhere away from the familiar places you normally watched games but as soon as you enter some other place, you'll hear yelling, cheering, and other sounds of "The Game".

And just like that, you'll feel as though something is tugging at you, pushing you towards the TV.

Just when you think you're out......They pull you back in!

This should actually be the best week of the off season, only days before the draft.

I'm not scared. They just don't deserve to be represented these days. Micah is helping but well see this year
Im looking forward to seeing how Parsons grows, we saw best player in the entire 2021 draft Micah Parsons just play like a real thing, real "elite" status that gets tossed around so easily, but Parsons earns the elite tag status already.
Im as harsh a critic on this franchise as anyone, but I give credit to a build, and players like MP can elevate young first contract players.
Most are quick to criticize this DL, its a rather historical complaint, am I wrong.
Gallimore
Oh boy, hope with Osa.
Hill, Bohanna, Watkins..
Im not upset either way OL or DL day one but it better be one or the other.
I would say top 3 priority which is OL/DL and thats across the line for both.
We can go top center or guard, which will be day one starter, and need pick, but should be value in this draft, if not than take a DL, or edge rusher if we stay at 24, there should be no other pick there.
Thats what worries me the most is that twitch and next thing you know we are giving up crazy draft capital to gain very little flexibility.
This draft is rich with mid round talent, and I would actually entertain a trade down at 24 if the draft board was still within McClays margins.

I just don’t care like I used to. I’m resigned to the fact that the Cowboys won’t win another Super Bowl as long as the Jones family is running this **** show.

I used to be such a draft nerd. Now I couldn’t tell you the name of one player in this draft.
I do blame Jerry but not for the dysfunction like most. I blame him for settling on a QB that can't perform on the biggest stage. He is fine with Dak because he is a marketing tool. But if they don't get some pedigree at QB this team will never string together wins over playoff teams. Every one of us who has played sports at a higher level has seen the guy who can crush bad competition but folds against better competition. It's a head scratcher but it is what it is. Dallas was in tge fight and had a chance but they were so handicapped with Dak. All those play makers and nobody to get them the ball. Romo could get guys the ball but made too many mistakes. Now Dak and Romo have been the best QBs this team has had since Aikman but WHY STOP DIGGING FOR GOLD at the QB POSITION! PISSES ME OFF!
