I get the Johnson love. But I cannot hate the Smith pick.

Most media seems to like the Smith pick more than fans on here. Of course a few radio station aren't high on it, but they never like anything Dallas does. Like many on here.

I still liked other players available at the time than this pick. But more I read and see, I am more acceptable to this, but just not overall enthused.
However, he is the #1 selection so need to pull for him to be a success.

A lot take it personally that their idea of helping the team select players go completely unnoticed by the Cowboys FO too.

I think it's mainly the same as it was when we picked O linemen in the past, most fans aren't privy to them.

there in could be the problem. When callahan was here they were all younger but they were like fine tuned instrument. Since his departure they have gotten older and sloppier more injury prone for sure

I thought he was taken too early, but I hadn't heard the Titans wanted him either. I also didn't know he was rated that highly by our scouting department.

Most of the media had him going to us, Kiper included. A lot of speculation was he was going late 1st early 2nd. If he is your guy and he's not making it to 56, you take him.

Most media members outside of Dallas have him starting RT and McGovern starting at LG. Ross Tucker is one of them adament about McGovern being good enough
