Had a concern going into game 4 that if Luka was back, that the rest of the guys might not be as aggressive as they were forced to be in Games 2 and 3....I am 100% correct on this thus far. It also looks as if the NBA wants this to go 7 games...lopsided officiating.

Some games Donovan Mitchell can just single handedly win. Today could just be one of those days
 
I ended up being right about everything I said....the series should have been wrapped up last nite.

As much as I'd like to see it, I don't think so.

The Mavs have to find a way to control Luka's temper. I heard he went after one of the Phoenix fans last night. Wonder if that will lead to a suspension.

Beat the breaks off ofem tonight
 
Would be a shame if a generational talent like Luka doesn’t grab at least one ring in his career like Dirk got in 2011. The Mavs have some pieces to the puzzle . Getting to the West finals a big step in that direction . Would be something if they could bring the Warriors back to Dallas for a game 6 and maybe it won’t rain , have a leaky roof at AAC . Right Mark . Spring for some roof repairs would you ?

Luka's 23 years old, out of all of the all time greats probably only Kareem, Magic, Duncan, Kobe won a championship prior to that age.

And realistically Kareem played with 32 year old Oscar Robertson, Magic played with 32 year old Kareem, Duncan played with 33 year old David Robinson and Kobe played with 27 year old Shaquille O'Neal

Winning a championship at that age as the best player is the exception, not the rule
 
I’m looking at years of playoff futility with Dallas after that 2011 ring ceremony . Getting this far this yr gives me some hope Jason Kidd and the FO will provide Doncic with the team to contend not just pretend ( Cowboys ) in the years to come.

Wasn't that the year where Kareem went down and Magic played Center in the finals?
 
Yea, but keep in mind Kareem played in games 1-5 and had a 14 point 4th quarter in game 5. So I think the point that Kareem was a major part of LA winning the finals still stands.

Also worth noting that Kareem was averaging 33.4 ppg through those 5 games compared to 17.4 for Magic.
