He has had a season to learn and improve, he will need to step up and show what he is capable of. This is not a knock on him, some guys take longer, Cedric Wilson came on strong last season but did not start his career off that way. Took work and time for him. Unfortunately for many players it takes some time before they are ready to show what they are capable of.

If he shows out he should but with this staff who knows?

This is where the offense and defense coaches are completely different. On defense they will find ways to utilize everyone. But on offense pollard can break a 40 yard run early on his 1st carry and still only get 2 additional carries for the rest of the game.

injuries cant be controlled, so that statement is moot,..

MA had some great seasons when not having hams blow..Im just saying fans are not patient they want instant sucess or they write off players. MA was an example of player who slowly came along and then had nice career. averaged nearly 15 YPC over 8 seasons. When he played all 16 he had over 1k..

He has one break out year. Yippy ky yay……his hamstring issue are well documented and certainly not moot……it was a running joke and part of the Cowboys lexicon.

having said all that, I was a fan of his but I’m not delusional

your reply is moot and still is, It doesn't matter we are talking player development and how fans react if player who was drafted low or well even not doesn't instantly have sucess they write it off.

Austins proof that players can develop and become very good and Semi also could turn out to be successful. miss many points when you go off track tryig to dismiss player over injuries.

Umm he had nearly 3 1k yard seasons not one. b2b great years, maybe go google before you spew nonsense in reply. 2 straight years with better or equal number then AC..those are hard facts.

2009 81 for 1320 and 11 tds 16.3 YPC
2010 69 1041 7tds 15.1 YPC

his carrer average was great ie maybe more of a big play guy then coop..you need more memory vitamins, when healthy Austin turned into a threat at WR..yes his hammys sidetracked his career.

" ..Fehoko’s 4.43 speed and 6.78 3-cone were oddities for a man his size. Despite his poor route-running and questionable coverage recognition, he had a tantalizing skillset upon which to build. He was the ideal pick for a team willing and able to take the time and develop."

" ..Simi’s explosion off the line, deep speed, and ability to use his body on slant routes, make him an ideal X receiver in the pros. But in Kellen Moore’s system, which moves pass-catchers around, Fehoko is going to need to prove himself elsewhere – particularly in the slot.

Improving his route-running is clearly objective one, but blocking ability isn’t far behind. There’s no reason for a man his size to struggle like he does blocking but his Stanford tape shows it’s a major opportunity in his developmen

I'm intrigued by Simi. I look forward to seeing him flash his skills in Tc and the preseason. I can see him being a bit of a Miles Austin.

you do realize that's a given for role players from all position's way down on depth charts, they PLAY STs..if you cant those 12 receptions by turner don't mean much. Browns ability to play the 5th wr spot and block and play Sts makes him valuable, thats why turners gone. we can most likely get that from Semi/Vasher or an UDFA 12 receptions is hardly irreplaceable. Browns contributions while they seem unimportant are very important from wrs, rbs, lbs and oL perform these tasks and are necessary to build out a roster.

just because you dont think Browns a good wr doesn't make it true hes good enough to be the 5th WR and that's his role..its why he keeps making the team.

what we need most is not a starting wr we have that covered we need to find a Punt returner and that same player add in some receptions like turner. Maybe Semis that guy hes big, fast, and im betting with full offseason maybe he can pick up the PR game. That would be great. add in 12 receptions and few tds sure thats a bonus.
Brown only remains due to the dirty work detail, but he has done a decent job taking out the trash.
I wanted to see Brown develop more in the passing game, but we havent seen it.

not really i believ its gogi to look olikemthis

Lamb for AC
Gallup for Lamb
Tolbert for Gallup
Washington for Wilson
Semi/vasher/UDFA for turner?
Brown - Brown LOL

Gallup, Tolbert and Washington are all sitting or rehabbing.

This is dream opportunity for WR at end of depth chart.

Fehoko, Vasher, Drummond, Tryfogle all need to step up their games.
