If rookie Damone Clark was not injured but able to start and play come Week 1, I would be rushing both Micah Parsons and Sam Williams from both edges...nonstop.

Since LVE is still a question mark, Cox is coming off a torn ACL and the rest of the LBs are backup material, this is why Dan Quinn is most likely not to blitz Micah 90% of the time for now.

Is he not already doing that ?

You know with 3-4 scheme and the LBs, such as TJ Watt, it's not always full speed ahead pass rush, .they do occasionally drop into passing lanes to confuse QBs.
But those other 90% of the time, here comes Watt ,.. Von Miller, Matt Judon ,etc., etc.

Well one he is on the smallish side to being fighting big uglies all day. Eventually that will take a toll and you will need to replace at the end of his rookie contract. Before anyone says other guys do it an are smaller but they are OLB in a 3-4, Parsons rushes inside and outside but seldom rushing from a 3-4 OLB position like say a TJ Watt.

Lawrence Taylor remained a linebacker and was with a very strong Giant linebacker group.
I'm not suggesting Parsons move to the line.

I am suggesting that he should rush the QB much more than he does.

LT rushed the QB A LOT. Parsons should never be 15 yards down the field covering a TE2 that's not getting the ball anyways. It's a waste of his abilities.

Get both defensive ends and tackles getting constant pressure and Parsons will indeed become more team supportive and get there more, but at the Coordinator's call.

Agreed.
For now, Parsons is Quinns true pass rusher, but Quinns options are rapidly becoming available and he will have more to play with soon.
This defense is being fast tracked and rightfully so.

I've been convinced that maybe 90% is too much, but I don't think I can be convinced that 70% is too much.

Whatever the Giants did with LT should be the blueprint for what the Cowboys do with Parsons.
Agreed, but it all depends on the other LBs and how soon they can be ready to take full-time responsibility roles as LBs, which would allow Dan Quinn to pass rush Micah much more.
