12. Dallas Cowboys The losses of Amari Cooper and Cedrick Wilson hurt, and they’re the reason Dallas slides just outside of the top 10 on this list. But there’s still reason to be excited about this unit. CeeDee Lamb could be in for a monstrous 2022 season after raising his PFF grade from 71.6 as a rookie to 84.1 last year. He’s joined by Michael Gallup at the top of the depth chart — an underrated X receiver returning from a torn ACL in 2022. Free agent acquisition James Washington and rookie Jalen Tolbert will compete for snaps as the No. 3 receiver and vertical threat in Dallas’ offense.

The one glaring issue with the current group is lack of deep speed. And they are not a physical group neither. Right now CD and Gallup are great #2s. James Washington and Tolbert are mid to low end #3s. The rest are ho hum.

One guy who brings elusiveness and speed is Pollard who should play a lot of slot and even swing wide from time to time. He could get a lot of favorable matchups. He could be like Deebo except as a RB. A guy who primarily runs but catches a lot and plays a lot of Recievers.

It's all up to Moore.

Really? Cowboys Zone says Shultz is a bum and Ferguson should replace him.:facepalm:

Very good pass catcher. Not a great blocker. I like Ferguson as well. If we can keep both, that would be amazing. I wouldnt pay top dollar for Shutlz however.

we all have our opinions. I think CD benefited a lot from Cooper. now he gets all the attention. its up to him to show he is legit#1. his drops have to stop.

I did say gallup is high end #2....so no arguments there I assume.

I hope Tolbert and Washington turn out to be good.

So then that qualifies as you not being able to see it correct?

Not me.........I think CD had to deal with having to split with Cooper. He will blossom as the #1 option. I watch the guy play and he shows everything you want.

He was outshining Cooper in his 2nd year for heavens sake. Would have done the same his rookie year had it now been for Dak getting hurt. More versatile then Cooper was and is better at high pointing, making tough catches and YAC. He also has that competitive edge that Cooper lacked. Not going to get dinged up like Cooper.

or does it qualify you as the one who is not seeing it. correct?

he will blosson. as in guaranteed? how sure are you? we hope he does. he has potential. but will he realize his potential? will he?...that's the point. you act as if he has already done it and proof is in the past. well its not, unless you got a crystal ball.

he did benefit from cooper being on the team, taking attention away from him. he did benefit for a period being with gallup and wilson....that's undeniable. so now, he gets all the attention. specially first few weeks, when its him, and tolbert and washington.

Did you watch the game when he had to play #1 vs Chiefs, Raider, Broncos … he didn’t go over 100 yards with all three games combined.

Its going to be a shaky start, but getting Gallup back in the mix asap will be considered huge when he returns.
Need Washington and some depth to step up quickly during TC, and I believe we have the depth to find some day 1 starters in this group.

I tend to think CD will be better. And maybe Cooper should have flourished with Lamb out there, but he didn’t take advantage of his opportunities. So part of the reason he is gone. It was obvious in the 2nd half of the season, but really the past 2 years Cooper was not the huge difference makers as many wanted.

Yes, if I am wrong that would mean I dont see it. I am 100% sure that CD is a legit #1. Now he isnt Moss, but he is a good one.

But yah, for me, he has already shown it. Just because he had to share with Cooper doesnt mean he didnt show what he could do. Lamb benefited from Cooper as much as Cooper benefited from Lamb. And they both held each other back in the way of being the focal point.

From my point of view I dont know how you CANT see it. What is it that you are not seeing?t

NO with Gallup out, yah, he is going to get a lot of attention early. But lets not forget about Shultz. And some of this depends on Moore and Dak. At the Rams, they goto Kupp all day every day no matter what. And both McVay and Stafford are committed to throwing to him no matter what.

Still above average, which should be fine if the run game and QB play well.

Some of this depends on how good the rookie will be. They seem to really like what they see.

It would be nice to get your facts straight before you hammer a guy. Why would you post false information?

What happened CeeDee Lamb?

Lamb suffered the injury while jumping for a pass in the end zone at the end of the first half against Chiefs cornerback Charvarius Ward, who cam down with the interception. He had three catches for 14 yards before his injury, in a game in which Dallas' injury-plagued offense is sputtering.Nov 21, 2021

Lamb then missed the next game with the concussion which was the Raiders game.
