Forecast to be 100 or more for the next 14 days and was for the last 3. Already had 10 at that or over so far this year.

I just got back from spending a full week in Montana. I got back at midnight to panhandle of FL and I had to take my glasses off because they fogged up so bad and wouldn't clear. Started sweating immediately. My A/C is pulling so much water out of the air it's almost as if I turned on a faucet on the drain line.

Where in Montana were you? We live in the far NW corner, just a little south of Glacier National Park.

We have had unseasonably cool and wet conditions this May and June... not a lot of rain in terms of absolute inches, but a bit of rain almost every single day. The Flathead and Swan rivers are at flood stage.

Not that I am complaining, though, the rain is good for the forest and will abate some of the forest fires in late Juky and August.

I was in Kalispell, so I was in your neck of the woods. My company is based there so I go up once or twice a year. It did rain every single day while I was there, but usually when I go up there it's snowing, so I had that going for me. :)

My wife and I went whitewater rafting at Flathead on Saturday and the guide said the river was at flood stage and was only going to get worse. It made for some wicked rapids! We were up front so we got the brunt of all the splashed water. I wasn't cold until I took off my wetsuit and my muscles are still screaming at me for all the fun I had rafting. I had the car's heater on full blast during the trip to our hotel. It is beautiful country. It was my wife's first time in Montana so she went exploring every day while I was at work.

We do most of our shopping in Kalispell... and, for that matter, dining out as well. Nice city that is experiencing a real boom in population.

At the risk of sounding presumptuous, let me know when you're in the area next. If nothing else, i could give you suggestions for restaurants and site-seeing.... maybe, even catch up for a drink and a meal.

I would love that. It looks as if I will be in town in the December time frame. My boss loves to bring everyone in from everywhere and throw a big Christmas party. He hasn't been able to do it the last couple of years for obvious reasons.
