Imagine paying a QB of Dak's skill level what the Cowboys paid him knowing that it would take a couple years for him to MAYBE not be terrified to use his legs.

This team is run by doofuses.

I don't expect you to understand the severity. You don't want to understand. But I'll take the word of an HOFer who mentioned it over some blow hard that's only agenda is taking a dump on Prescott.

Why? There is a shelf life. There is a window. This is football and that window and shelf life is much smaller in the NFL than other sports.

Playing scared is what losers do.

It was clear to me that priorities number one through five or so was keeping him healthy....including playing Elliott over Pollard for pass protection.

But I didn't feel like that was the case until after the NE scare.

You can't take away the legs of Prescotts game and expect not to feel it.

Big time irony with the last play of the season.

We might never make the playoffs with Dak at QB again. It's not a given. These things aren't guaranteed.

So why waste a playoff birth by being scared to use him correctly?

I agree 100%.Jerry was never fully sold on Dak.If he was he would have signed him at the time of Goff & Wentz signings for less $ than he wound up having to pay.I think they know what they have,a mediocre QB.Jerry, the ultimate salesman, of course trying to sell him as elite, so the fans keep spending $.

Josh Allen can run AND throw though.

Running is not what makes him good, it's just another weapon for him. His arm talent is off the charts.

Arm talent and accuracy/reading defenses are different things. His running makes him special.

Well them "figuring" they can do something when they want is part of the problem.
