I'd say his commanding control over the division is a very good thing. Especially with how he pretty much owns Philly. His record against the division rivals is very good overall.

It is a weak divsiion .
on the mention of the eagles , do you recall the game against Philly in 2019 , when he was fit and all, and he failed in a playoff implication game.? Their defense was awful , the cowboys had to win that game and he missed crucial throws, .
his inability to show up at crucial games is very worrisome . he seems to buckle mentally .

I believe baker at a reasonable 15-20 million contract will be a far better option for the cowboys in the next 4-6 years than Dak .
Mayfield can ignite this offense and make better use of the receivers and OL we have .
Not to mention that dak has become injury prone, and has wild inconsistencies and slumps during the season.

give me facts that dak is ascending and not descending , taking in consideration the one main numerical fact : 1 playoff win in 6 years , and that win took place in the 2018 season. How can you gloss over that fact. Heck , baker has a more recent playoff win on the road, while playing at a more diffficult division.
Garoppolo probably also has much better achievements than dak and he is also available.

Dak is not my freind,. but he is paid like a top 4-5 QB . Dak is in 15-17 territory. His performances against good teams have been miserable. Don' t get distracted by the hype and the empty stats. You watch next season . Baker has his issues and has been injred last year. but would have at least made better use of the passing game offered to dak , especially against winning teams. Dak simply buckles at the crucial games

judging from dak's play and shortcomings, baker is better in accuracy especially the long ball. Dak does not scare any defenses . Look at the tapes . Have you seen what the broncos did to dak last year ? same for the 49ers and others. He is easy to figure out.

Dak is also one of the most accurate QBs in the NFL since coming into the league at the deep ball. Do you research anything or just go based on the eye test?

Exactly., great point. Without the miracle against Atlanta , dak's start before dalton would have been 0-4. Poor Dalton was blamed for that whole season.

If it wasn't for 3 teams with loads of injuries Dalton would have won those 3 games at the end of the year. All of which were close. Two teams missing starting QBs....in a must win game he choked royally as he always did. Yeah tied your boat to his anchor and you sink. All other games except Minny when starting QB played and they didn't have injuries we got BLown out.....in essence he had one win in 11 games. The other three he got lucky

What ??? You want to base your Dak as an elite QB claim on an OT win over New England ?? You are delusional . Heck, the terrible dolphins beat the patriots . So did the colts and others . Everyone knows Dak is not accurate nor can he pick defenses with his arm . McCarthy just eluded to that in his presser . He knows next season the excuses have to end with Dak . Yeah mostly thanks to the o-line/Zeke and having to comeback to redeem his own poor play earlier in the game against inferior opposition. Better QBs wouldn't have even put the team in that position - they would be game managing and cruising to victory. You can't get away with doing that in the play offs hence his poor record in the post season.
