That's not entirely true. AC acknowledged that Dak choked in the most recent playoff game just like the entire team did. There were no excuses.

You have personal insight into BB's thought process? There's no way in hell you can say BB picks Dak without hesitation.
BB has praised Dak in a couple of clips. So we knows he likes Dak... no personal insight needed. But the whole question is moot. Mac Jones is there and Dak is here.

Oh, I agree. I wish the Cowboys had an up and coming young stud at the QB position that gave the fans hope . The only hope I have now is waiting for Arch Manning to make it to the NFL.
:lmao:

You need to understand how football works buddy. Dak looked different in the 2nd half because the line was different and the run game was different. He also had two games without Cooper and Lamb.

Not rocket science. You would be hard pressed to find a QB that has EVER won a SB that didnt have a great team around him. Why would Dak or Romo, or any QB be any different?

You think Mahomes, Brady, Stafford didnt have great teams around them? All also had great coaching. Have Romo and Dak had great coaching? How about a great GM?

QB's need players around them to play well in order for them to showcase their talent.

The thing I like most about Dak is when Dak has quality players around him on offense he plays great consistently. We saw that even in his rookie year.

Just look what happened to Mahomes in the SB two years ago. He lost a couple starters on the Oline the week prior to the SB and he couldnt even score a TD. 3 FG's in the SB against the Bucs.

Right. And in 2019 it was his shoulder, which miraculously healed for the last game against Washington, the week after he looked horrible against the Eagles in a game for the division title. I don't think I am saying anything outrageous. Last year every talking head in football was talking about Dak's "slump". But I guess they need to understand how football works too.

Brady and Brees only had one playoff win in their first 6 years just like Dak. Does that count in the same nutshell??? That's just facts, correct???
Uhm, since Brady won a superbowl in that period and was injured for the AFC championship game that season I don't know what you're talking about. Had Dak already won a SB noone would say a thing. In this context however one playoff win in all his career so far tells the whole picture and thats that. Sure it's also because of the team and coaches he played for, but at his position he's the guy in focus. And like Brees, maybe Dak needs a team change to get his break through? ;)

But anyway, let him take us to an NFC championship game and it's a different story. Until then the current narrative fits pretty well.

Yes, they did. Even moreso.

However, this entire argument is silly!!!!
No they didn't.

I doubt any QB in history has had 3 1st team all-pro linemen, 1st team all-pro RB, a RB that won the rushing title by over 300 yards, a HOF TE, and a Pro Bowl WR all at the same time.

I challenge you to find me any QB in NFL history that had all of that around them at the same time.

But what cause the slump? Easy analysis. The deterioration of the line and running game. Cooper and Lamb missing two games. Easy stuff buddy. QB's depend on the players around them. Football 101. Now was Dak throwing bad picks to lose games? No

Exactly.

If Dak was so hurt last year why we he out there in a meaningless week 18 game against the Eagles practice squad throwing passes just to break a record?

The Dak homers ignore stuff like this.

Tom Brady had a stacked D, w/ something like 8 of the starters being top tier. The titles you're speaking of don't mean anything. A stacked D is much more important to a QB than any O weapons.

The Niners team around Montana was just stacked. Same w/ Aikman. And, here's the biggie, both had a nutlock D. Dak did not. D wins championships, not pro bowlers and all pros on O.

Yes, other guys have had stacked teams also, but what QB has had what Dak had?

I'm not talking about defense. I'm talking about the talent around the QB specifically.

I still challenge you or anyone to show me 1 QB in NFL history that had all the stuff Dak had.

Here, I'll lay out the criteria once again.... Name any QB in history has had the equivalent of 3 1st team all-pro linemen, 1st team all-pro RB, a RB that won the rushing title by over 300 yards, a HOF TE, and a Pro Bowl WR all at the same time.

Dak had all of this in 1 season. I don't believe any QB has ever had equal to or more than that. The 3 1st team all-pro linemen in 1 season is basically unheard of, but Dak had it.

But even tom brady had a top 10 defense for like 15 straight years
I just meant on offense. MC decided to tell me to find a QB who had more help than Dak and went as far as to tell me to find a QB with 3 all pro lineman, a first team all pro RB, HOF TE and pro bowl receiver.

I brought up Kurt Warner and the conversation died off pretty quick.

Montana, Steve Young, Warren Moon, Matt Ryan, Elway his last couple years, Bradshaw, Staubach, Brady(07), Bart Starr, Payton Manning, Aikman, Jim Kelly, Kurt Warner. Need more?

The 07 Pats were far more stacked on O.

Brady in 07. The most stacked O of all time.

The 2007 Pats had 4 first team All Pros on offense... Brady, Moss, Light, and Mankins.

The 2016 Cowboys had 4 first team All-Pros on offense.. Zeke, Martin, Fredrick, and Smith

So, what now? Far more stacked, huh?

Dak sucks. How's that?
If that's how someone feels.....then it ain't hating. Dak has some plays that certainly make you scrath your head. Like the throw into the dirt to a WIDE open Noah Brown. THAT certainly sucks. Blew the GAME and blew a chance to give Noah some much needed confidence.

I'll tell who's a hater.....if you blame the o-line for Dak's lack but Zeke just plain sucks? Those guys are haters.
