All of those things have nothing to do with the evaluation of a player to decide if he is a good fit for your team, which is the central aspect of this hypothetical thought experiment. Ok. If im a GM, im focusing on stats first because they tell me more overall than film. I can use those stats to further investigate specific places in specific game film to justify those stats.
