put in place in the last CBA, so im guessing that was last year... this is the first year for the arbitrator.
Thank you.
I wonder if the Zeke situation affected such a decision.
Probably had some sort of influence.

He could begin showing remorse for this entire unfortunate situation without admitting any guilt. And reinsure that he won’t be attending these massage parlors any longer. That would be a start.

Also , while not continuing to place himself in these vulnerable situations he could be giving back to the community of his time and money in different organizations and charities.

A show of good will could go along way that he’s not only curbing his behavior but becoming an asset to community. If I was his lawyer I’d advise hiring a PR firm to help project a more contributing caring citizen.

When you are involved in lawsuits, the last thing you do is make public statements. Your lawyers make sure you dont do that.

Im sure when this is all over he will do something to that affect.

But lets look at what happened here. He wasnt criminally charged with ANYTHING!

Sounds more like your saying the guy is guilty in your mind. I bet that isnt what he is thinking in his mind.

So your advice as his lawyer would be to get out in the public eye right now trying to fix his reputation?

Yep, your fired!!

Lay low and let the legal system takes it course. When the time comes, we will have our day.

Learned this from a case we were involved in. The best answer when being sued/charged is silence. Give them nothing. Anything you say, they can twist and use against you.

I meant once the case and NFL judgement was over hiring a PR and showing remorse. For now yes staying silent is preferred.

I’m reading this morning there was a new lawsuit filed yesterday against the Texans claiming they knew of Watsons conduct and they not only protected their star QB but their organization enabling his egregious behavior.

The lawsuit alleges the Texans provides Watson various sources including hotel rooms at a Houston hotel, massage tables and a non disclosure agreement the women were told to sign that allows Watson further misconduct with women turning massage sessions into something sexual.

The Texans are also accused of having their head of security remove from the internet an Instagram video from November 2020 in which a women detailed alleged misconduct by Watson during massage sessions .

This lawyer Buzbee filing the suit is same lawyer who is representing the initial suit filed and her case is heading to court and not expected to go to trial until 2023. All of this pointing to Watson not being able to return until these cases are over .

I love it when the cops says, "Do you know how fast you were going?" Why I sure do officer... uhm whats the speed limit? uhm yea, thats how fast I was going.

I never understand why people want to see "Remorse," from someone. Who gives a damn if they are sorry or not. If someone kills my wife or one of my daughters, there remorse wouldnt mean a damn thing to me.

Same with the ridiculous "Hate Crime," laws on the books. We make crap up out of nowhere to get punishments we want. So if Im at a movie and someone jumps me, beats the hell out of me and puts me in the hospital they get, say 5 years.

Same exact scenario and a black man gets jumped by an ignorant white supremist. Black man takes the exact same beating and his attacker gets 10 years? total crap. The crime is the crime. The reason why the crime was committed was never a factor.

Ill give you another.... victim impact statements. Another crap law, or should I say, procedure.

All unnecessary. Feel good laws. Certain towns don't allow you to smoke with a minor in the car. But the minor can legally smoke, and yet you can still get a ticket.

The post you’re responding to shows sheer ignorance and discourse of the law .

Of course motive and intent weigh into sentencing and remorse factors into rehabilitation and ultimately parole . Such a bizarre post that was .

Hate crimes are violent crimes in which the motive and intent rarely show any remorse and given the opportunity would repeat offense. They should be given a stiffer sentence .

“In March, two separate Texas grand juries declined to indict him on criminal complaints stemming from the allegations.

Houston police Detective Kamesha Baker, the lead investigator in the criminal investigation, told Buzbee in a deposition that she believed Watson had committed crimes in the 10 criminal complaints that had been filed against the quarterback. Baker also said that Watson’s conduct during the massage sessions was escalating in such a way she believed that he would commit even more serious crimes, according to the lawsuit.”

Watson could be facing a much longer suspension than most imagined . This new lawsuit against the Texans reveals there’s a video out there. The NFL hates videos . And this lawsuit isn’t expected to go to trial until 2023. Don’t expect Watson to play until these cases are settled.

Did you pay much attention to Krafts story? Sex traffic industry is alive and well because of people like Kraft, and they pushed that under the rug and did NOTHING.

Visiting a massage parlor is not on par with assaulting over 20 women. You can't hang the human trafficking problem on Kraft. lol The fact is that he visited a real tax paying business and you have no evidence anyone working there was being forced to work against their will.

Right. No comparison!

I don’t recall any assault or sexual harassment charges or lawsuits being filed by the women . Just misdemeanor charges paying for sex.

The massage parlor faced felony charges of prostitution ring.

Before you call someone ignorant, you should about laws, you should consider I have a BA in Criminal Justice and attended McGeorge School of Law. INTENT is considered in all crimes Im aware of, motive is not. You should study up a little to understand the difference between the two before you call someone ignorant.

Ignorant? screw off

Of course I have no evidence, and none of us got to see any evidence because Bob's lawyers worked their magic and got a video tape removed from evidence if Im not mistaken and with no tape, no case.

I didn’t call anyone ignorant. I called the post ignorant of the law with those outlandish thoughts. And I stand by it.

Regardless he was only charged with a misdemeanor of soliciting or paying for sex. No assault for sensual harassment charges .

The massage parlor owner was facing felony charges for house of prostitution .

Kraft had the misdemeanor charges dropped . No comparison to Watson allegations except the fact it was in a massage parlor .

Settling lawsuits often has nothing to do with admitting guilt or innocence. Often it simply a business decision whether you did or not or whether you can win it or not.

What is Watson going to show remorse for? Trying to get a happy ending? LOL

Absolutely nothing at all compered to smacking around a women.
I wonder if women agree with this?

Here in Texas minors are allowed to drink in the presence of their parents and or legal guardians . Are they able to smoke as well?

These tobacco laws are fairly new in Texas so I’m not sure on this stipulation?
