With Cowboys battling injuries at WR, who will play next to CeeDee Lamb?

Current WR ranking at training camp:

1. Lamb,
2. Jalen Tolbert,
3. Noah Brown,
4. Dennis Houston,
5. Simi Fehoko,
6. T.J. Vasher

I can’t wait for the season. Prescott without a superstar at wide receiver. this is where he gets to really prove himself , make it or break it , No excuses. Can you put the team on your shoulders. I think we’ll have a winning season. Then it’ll be up to the defense to see how Far we can go from there.
You got a few things wrong there. You're assuming having a superstar WR matters. CeeDee is good enough to be our 1WR and Noah Brown has enough experience to show out being our 2WR. Gallup and Washington should be back early in the season. This is Dak's 7th season and he never has been able to put the team on his back to take us anywhere. It won't be any different this season with Dak. That's not saying the team can't get to an NFCC title game but it won't be because Dak has put the team on his back. Dak is just a bus driver. You did get one thing right, the defense is the driving force that will determine how far this team goes.

Austin did not flame out. His body gave out on him. Ironically the same massive hammies that made him near impossible to tackle in the open field proved too strong for his body and kept tearing..
Just curious. Under what circumstance(s) would you describe a player as having "flamed out" ?

This makes no sense. He arrived on a 1-year 5m prove it deal and left on a 3-year 27m contract. His season with Dak was his best since 2015 with only 3/11 of Cobb’s seasons being better than the one he had in Dallas. He might have built his reputation in Greenbay but no if, buts or maybes about it, Cobb increased his value in his season with Dallas.
Thank you.
This matter is closed. :)

I really look forward to Dak and these young receivers making the cry babies look foolish.

if that happens all year, EVERY Cowboys fan should be ecstatic because than there’s hope. If the offense can get to the next level with an improving defense we may just win 2 playoff games in a row…..I’d consider just that a success.

So you dont much of Lamb or Gallup?

I think most teams would to have that duo ….even if one misses 3 games or so

Gallup won't be 100% for awhile. I will be a believer if I see Ceedee step up and assume the #1 role like everyone thinks is gonna happen. I personally think he is too small and drops too many passes. He's a finesse guy and needs an opposite threat to be effective. It's just an opinion and I'll be glad to be wrong.

How fast people forget. Remember the rookie season. He put a team on his back. We’ve been nothing but turmoil in building since

It looks to me like the rest of the league effectively says that a $40 million a year and higher quarterback needs to carry the team and elevate the receivers. Rodgers, Mahomes, and Russell Wilson come to mind. It’s tough to manage huge quarterback AND receiver contracts at the same time.

I think Cleveland is one of the rare exceptions doing both right now.
