NO EXCUSES!!!!!

I said it first concerning the Jones boys setting up Dak for failure this coming season.
Seems Mr.Helman agrees....

It doesn't matter what the front office does. The players have to adjust and execute. But having a strong offensive line is better than having a strong wide receiver core, IMO.

As they say, the game is won in the trenches.

And they’ve completely been reckless on how they’ve attempted to build their trenches.

The lack of investment in the OL this off season has been head scratching for me.
As to the motives , I am not going to try a get into Jerry's head.
they are done giving hand outs - i'm ok with it... let these guys earn it...

i also think the mcgovern situation is so that they can get him to buy in when he's on the bench and he will be more prepared to fill in when necessary. If tyler is not starting by PS game 2 - then i would start to have some concern.

Ive said it several times:

ceedee lamb
Michael Gallup
James Washington
Jalen Tolbert
Dalton Schultz
Tony Pollard
Ezekiel Elliott

that is a decent set of weapons. I dont want to hear that as an excuse for this offense not being top-10

Yeah, I don't really care. It's year 7. You sink again and stay sunk or you finally learn to swim.

I'm sorry that he only has one #1 receiver now instead of two.

I'm sorry that he only has 2 all-pro offensive linemen.

I'm sorry that he has a 1,000 yard rusher that most believe is the 2nd best RB on the team.

I'm sorry that he has a pro-bowl TE.

Boo Hoo. Winners win and losers make excuses.

If they run Zeke & Pollard consistently & use them with Turpin as WRs then this team will make a deep playoff run.

Good thing is that Dak has not bought into these allegations by the media......

The Cowboys are banking on Dak based on the amount of money they’re paying him. He’ll be in line for a new contract in just a couple of years. It looks to me like the Cowboys want to see if he’s going to be worth a third contract.

The guy wanted to be payed like an elite QB.

Well elite QBs are able to move the ball against great defenses on a constant basis. That with average talent surrounded.
Dak still has good talent around him.

So where is the problem ? Play like an elite QB. You had 6 years to learn how to do it.
And as i heard you are in the best shape of your life.
