Not necessarily, McGovern is also a decent fullback; there's your physicality.

What he needs to do is too destroy and totally annihilate the man opposite of him, teammate or not just to get some attention. Talent though is what they're looking for.

McGovern got blown up by 250 linebacker when playing FB behind the line of scrimmage. He is not a fullback and screams run play to opposing defenses. He needs to stick to being a RG/C.

I disagree, at worst case scenario he is a P.S. player best case he is the starting LG with Tyler Smith at LT.

Would not shock me at all if he gets cut....picked up by another team who gives him a fair shot with a REAL OL coach and becomes a very acceptable player. Not all world or all Pro, but serviceable OT or OG. Not a joke like a lot of fans on this site make him out to be. We all can agree that this OL coaching staff ain't that great. Look at the progress of Biadasz, McGovern, CWilliams, Ball,Farniock..... the only great ones turned out to already have talent like Tyrone, Zack, Frederick or even Collins.

Not the same coaching staff.

C.williams was a different staff as were tyron Fred and Martin.

Biadasz hasn't developed a lot but Steele did as an undrafted player.

He got natural traits to overcome coaching, just need opportunities that’s all!

The current offensive line up so far have prove to lack physicality and the depth chart needs to be shaken up.

McGovern is exclusive a backup center & guard. The team needs to move Issac up the depth chart as backup LG, RG & swing tackle. He has the attitude, size & strength to shakeup the OL and create a culture change.


With the giant size 6’-7” 330 lbs he is the Cowboys version of Jordan Davis in the OL.

The current Oline hasnt even played a preseason game yet troll. LOL

McGovern wont be the starting guard. That will be Tyler Smith when the real bullets start flying. This entire thread is nothing but lies and nonsense.

Is it how you impose your will physically during a game or is it how you ambush an unsuspecting player with an unnecessarily violent hit during an organized practice session?
