Though I'm not sure Dallas can/will capitalize on the gift-wrapped opportunity, it does appear that the NFC has issues across the board this year.

Maybe we can at the very least advance a game or two in the playoffs?

I know, I know....don't pile on.....but they all have some issues.

Here are some issues with the top contenders

Bucs.
Brady is taking time away and is really struggling emotionally right now.
Big injuires on the line and elsewhere.

Rams
Stafford has an elbow issue. He's toughed it out his whole career through various pain issues, but this could get him later in the season.
They had some key losses in FA, including Von Miller. Some nice adds too though

49ers
Trey Lance is the starter, so that's a big unknown.

Green Bay
lost maybe the best WR in the league
then lost their #2 and #3 WRS as well.

Cards
They lost a ton of talent: Chandler Jones, Christian Kirk, Chase Edmond, Jordan Hicks, and more

Philly
They were the last team in and still have Hurts as QB, but may be better this year.
We shall walk amongst the Dead........SUPERBOWL!!!:muttley:

Well, you said I was "dishonest" and need to "man up".
That's pretty harsh if you ask me.

All over stating something that was rumor and maybe overstepping an assumption.....not yet proven fact or fiction one way or the other.
So yeah, you seemed a bit over the top over in just a football thread of 100s of words and not getting it just perfect for you discussing one part of many teams' situations

But yes, I should've said if the rumor was true vs stating it the way i did. But the whole theme of the thread was possible holes in the armor of teams.

Like I said in another post, maybe he is just taking time away to deal with personal issues that aren't any big deal at all. I still think they are a favorite.

Btw, I've admitted if I was wrong in this forum plenty of times.
Just ignore him the guy's a moron.

thats all on paper teams are formed and play the regular season out and many predicters are way off and some surprises will happen. i dont like doing compas like this its all hyperbole. You play the games , let the chips fall where they may.

the dream team scenarios and the overreaction the other way that teams will be bad all just guessing.,.

it is why games are played so much happens through out season, we watch because of the unknown.

each season a one-off new year everyone has shopt.0-0 lets strap them on and go play it out.

recent example is the 3-5 start to 18 ended up in the 2nd round of the payoff fans gave up all tank talk it was ridiculous all the post on how the season was over ,you play the entire season to see how it ends.,. fast start can fail slow starts can succeed. It why sports are fun.

if you knew the ending to every movie or book would you spend time to watch or read them? i doubt it.

It's not gift wrapped if you have issues as well. These types of threads are always so arrogant, because they read like Dallas is better than the teams having problems.
Wasn't meant to read like that. Sorry you saw it that way.
Was trying to say there are cracks in the wall and maybe we can take advantage. Maybe not too, of course

I still think the several teams are favored ahead of Dallas

umm its the other way around, these types of posts SUGGEST the Cowboys should do well, its sets up fans to say we should have been better so they can whine and cry and say look we were supposed to dominate and when they dont, bam..

seriously..nothig arrogant about it, it reads quite the opposite to me..

I’m the 3rd person to bring it up, so yeah, that’s “several”.

You avoided answering because you realized you said something silly but didn’t want to admit it.

It was reportedly a planned absence, so Brady could very well be vacationing with his family or something. You stating as a matter of fact that he’s “really struggling emotionally” was dishonest and made-up.

It’s okay to say, “I was wrong.”

People will take you more seriously in the future when you man up, rather than going into hiding when asked to explain yourself.

you're really invested in this eh? lol

He thinks the Cowboys showed me up by getting molested in the wild card round of the playoffs.

This is how pathetic our fans have become.

Back when this franchise used to be something that exact same season would have been a total failure but now its OMG time to eat crow.

Sad.

They have no shot this year either. They'll be worse than last year.
When you have fans like Cowboyroy proclaiming the greatness of players like Dak then you know our franchise has sunk to new toilet levels!!!

Cowboys went 12-5 last year and made the playoffs. Dak lead the #1 offense and #1 scoring offense in the NFL. Zeke barely got to 1000 yards.

Who was right and who was wrong about all that, you or me? :muttley:

Cmon buddy, give it a rest. Nearly EVERY QB ranking out has Dak in the top 10.

If you cant beat em, join em!!!!:yourock:

So if you're keeping score, the cheerleader when thinks they have a shot every year has been right the last quarter of a century and the guy who said they didn't has been wrong.

White is black. Black is white.

the saddest part is the realization that this same offense that was inept against defenses like the Broncos and Niners last year, will be worse. Gonna watch it but also going to expect the worse……Micah makes the games worth watching, I guess

It’s just weird.

I just never knew “a planned absence for personal reasons” equals “really struggling emotionally.”

Then he blames it on “a rumor that he read”, which of course he can’t show us.

He literally made it up.

Tyler Smith gives me hope. If he’s a mauler in year 1, our offense could be even better against those types of teams.

It all starts up front.

agree but when you have a qb at his peak and 2 pretty good rb’s, this line needs more than an Inexperienced Tyler Smith. The window is closing on the offense.

it should have been addressed via free agency. Too much mediocrity and injury plagued players on this current line

The 2016 offensive line could have bested the Niners current D line…..this current group isn’t even close
