It's really hard cheering for Jerry Jones team

Charlotte - after her father departs this world - might become the force to convince her brother to relinquish all the strictly football operations to qualified people outside of their circle.

That's really the only hope we have. Stephen ain't gonna be the one to turn this thing around. And i also am not a fan of Jerry, took this once proud franchise and emasculated it. As for the 3 SBs won, those were with him in the background.

Does he really deserve to win another Super Bowl? What he did to Jimmy Johnson was egregious and not putting him into the ROH is even more egregious. Plus there are so many incidences of degeneracy. Probably even more that hasn't come to light. Dak is a genuinely good guy so I try to ignore the Jerry component but it's really difficult.

I have no issue cheering for the Cowboys with or without Jerry.

The melodrama in these threads is so freaking hilarious. Almost as entertaining as the all of the old people on Next Door complaining about how the teenagers don’t respect the rules and that they have no respect and they drive too fast. Bunch of Karen’s crying over something that is out of their control.
What Can We be Offended by today?! Sad…
You seem offended by the melodrama. Boohoo - people have a legit opinion about the ownership.

Again Jimmy Johnson wanted to live and coach in Florida.. At a Nfl meeting he ran into The Dolphins owner in a elevator. They were talking and Heziga (sp) ask he thought was a good coaches.. Jimmy said ,how about me? Jerry and Jimmy were not getting along but it’s jive to it Jerry it was mutual

While I agree that it has been difficult at times, specifically because of Jerry's control....I have been a fan for far too long just to leave and find the latest winners.

My allegiance lies in the Dallas Cowboys...not Jerry Jones. There has been very few PLAYERS I don't support. Seems like all of them have been in Jerry Jones era.
Even then...I find it difficult to root against them or predict their doom.

Some of YOU...have a problem with that. You love to predict doom and love to root against a player you hate. And the fans that support them.

Fine.

Go cowboys!

I don't find it at all difficult to root for a Jerry Jones team. His only team is the Dallas Cowboys, and I've been rooting for them since the 70's.

Have never liked all the players - Don't need to like the owner. Though there are things about Jerry that are likeable, such as his love for the players on the team. That may sometimes work against the goal of the team, but it's an admirable trait anyway.

Nobody's telling anyone they have to like Jerry. Nobody's telling anyone they have to stick around and like the Cowboys. It's a free country, and you can do what you want...like starting threads about disliking Jerry Jones, because it's low hanging fruit, almost guaranteed to get lots of replies.

They have always been my team... there are players I would like to ditch... But, I want the team to win!
There is an owner I would like to see live on their yacht and not interfere with staff/player choices, etc... though. You know, just be an owner.
Be glad when the team you own wins a super bowl. Not, try and be the owner and the person picking players so you can say it was all you.
Owner that might apply the team sport idea, to management of said team.

At the end of the day... still my team.

Most of them. They are like prom dates that got left alone and abandoned. Have more fun trashing the team than cheering for it

It’s a double edged sword. On one hand we can root on and support the players hoping they can overcome the toxic football atmosphere Jethro has created.

On the other hand if we disappoint or frustrate there is some satisfaction the humiliation Jethro continues receiving casting a dark shadow on his dysfunctional leadership.

They won’t win SB till he make it right with Jimmy or dies.
