Building championship teams? If it's all him and only HE knew how to do it...certainly he should have a couple more. He flat out quit trying.

And Jimmy has? Jimmy couldn't have built that team without Jerry's money and willingness to gamble.

Maybe that's why Jimmy left - because he no longer had intimate knowledge of the college players, so he lost confidence in his ability to keep the team a contender.

Nobody's crapping on Jimmy. Elton John wouldn't be nearly as great without Bernie Taupin. That's not a knock on Elton, just a reality.

The team and the jones boys are a package deal. If your rooting for team your also rooting for jones boys.

Does he really deserve to win another Super Bowl? What he did to Jimmy Johnson was egregious and not putting him into the ROH is even more egregious. Plus there are so many incidences of degeneracy. Probably even more that hasn't come to light. Dak is a genuinely good guy so I try to ignore the Jerry component but it's really difficult.

No he doesnt, and I hope he doesnt luck into another ring.

The cowboys are just entertainment now, the org. is just a ghost of what it once was.

if you root for cowboys, you have to root for the jones boys too. it is a pkg deal.
I root for them during the season, but not the post season, as I dont want to see jerry hold up another trophy. He would also gloat big time about it for years.
He doesnt deserve another one. He might luck into one, but I am not really worried about it.

keep in mind how we root for or support, or watch the cowboys has nothing to do with outcome of games or seasons.
That is all up to jones boys, coaches, and players ! What we do is irrelevant to outcomes.

So enjoy the season , the games, and root how you want, outcomes will be decided by others.

I didn't "crap on the HC". I give Jimmy a ton of credit....

Dot #1: Jones' status as owner, general manager, president. Establish 1989. Check.
Dot #2: Jones gets more credit if his team wins more. That happens throughout team sports since the creation of team sports. Check.
Dot #3: Jones has hogged microphones any time there has been a real or imagined negative slant against his franchise many times over the past 33 years. He's a narcissist. It's his thing. Check.

Dot #4...

A fan sits in the stadium. They cheer for a touchdown. It is not directed at Jones. Their cheer was directed at the running back carrying the ball. Or the receiver who caught the ball. Or whomever had possession of the ball and crossed the goal line.

Ditto for a fan sitting on their couch watching the game remotely. It is not directed at Jones also.

An imaginary 1,300 mile line COULD connect all four but... why would it be necessary to create a made up connection that does not exist?

Is this an analogy that makes the assumption intangible cheering has a tangible causal effect? A fan buys a cap at AT&T stadium. The money for the cap ends up in Jones' mans purse. He does not know it is there but it IS there. Fan. Cash. Jones. That's a real connection that can seen and tracked.

I root for the Dallas Cowboys—the uniform, the players, the games, the tradition, all the memories, etc. But it’s not life or death—it’s a game, a hobby, something to enjoy, and all you overly serious, doom-n-gloomers can rant and rave and squeeze all the enjoyment out of a simple thing that you want. The ONLY thing your complaints and depression and denouncements affect is NOTHING, save your own level of enjoyment. But not me. I don’t care about Jerry Jones. I’m just gonna do my thing and enjoy the ride, no apologies, no inferiority complexes, no crying.

Nah. The Dallas Cowboys were my team long before they were ever considered JJ's team. JJ may legally own the team because he was an oil tycoon in the 80s, but the NFL is a monopoly that has been granted an anti-trust exception due to its public nature by the US government, which the Constitution explicitly states is a government for the people, by the people.
